The Natural History is a band comprised of Tepper brothers singer/guitarist Max & bassist Julian, along with drummer Derek Vockins. After playing locally in the New York area and self-recording their own 3-song EP, The Natural History caught the ear of local NYC label Startime International, whose roster includes Brendan Benson, The Walkmen, The French Kicks, among others. Recording with Greg Talenfeld at Stonehouse studio in Nyack, NY, the band released the finished product as a self-titled EP in July of 2002. The EP was promoted with a year-full of touring with Enon and Spoon, and also found time to record their debut full-length effort Beat Beat Heartbeat, which was released in May of 2003.
Clarifications
In 2004, drummer Derek Vockins left the band to raise a family and was later replaced with Ohio native Brad Swiniarski (Townsmen, The Means, Bob City). The band also added a second guitarist and childhood friend, Joachim Kearns (Bob City, Porn on the Cob). The new lineup recorded a second album which was due in the spring of 2005, but soon split from Startime International and never released the album, People That I Meet. Among the songs that were to be released on the second album was Don't You Ever, which was later covered by Spoon on their 6th studio album Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.
For future reference, most clarifications are copied to the talk page of the case, as here, and especially when they bear on enforcement issues. Per this thanks for not treating me in a balanced and fair manner. How can it be on rulew for one and another for Irish people? I think it out of order not to treat people equally.--Vintagekits 19:02, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

I hate you. No, I don't. Up until four days ago, Billboard redirected to Billboard (magazine), so I was under the impression that leaving it as Billboard would still redirect there. Now it means there are a ton of improper links that I've created and I or someone else will need to fix. Thanks for letting me know. ShadowHalo 22:07, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Per your recent deletion of around 40 political categories, I remain to be convinced why these categories are, as the speedy deletion reason was given, "divisive advocacy category of no encyclopedic purpose". There was no discussion of this, and the last CfD nearly a year ago closed "no consensus". Furthermore the deletion of :Category:Wikipedians by political party per CSD C1 was invalid, as it had not been empty for four days. I request that you restore these and put them to a consensus vote on CfD. I've actually got no problem at all if that discussion deletes them (the community may well have moved on since this time last year), but I think things should be done by consensus on a matter as widespread as this. An editor has asked for a Category:Wikipedians who support the American Civil Liberties Union}}}|deletion review of :Category:Wikipedians who support the American Civil Liberties Union. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review. -N 17:54, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I wanted to wait until the RfA was over to avoid inflaming things (and I always thought until the end that something would happen and I wouldn't make it), but I understand where you are coming from, and I will be VERY cautious on such things while I get used to having the mop, and I will take your comments very seriously as something to avoid. Thank you for hopefully making me a better admin. SirFozzie 18:20, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
