Gold - 20 Super Hits is a 1993 compilation album by Disco/Eurodance group Boney M.. Shortly after record label PolyGram had acquired the rights to the ABBA back catalogue and had issued the multimillion-selling hits package Gold - Greatest Hits, BMG and producer Frank Farian followed suit with Boney M.'s Gold - 20 Super Hits which resulted in their best chart entry in the UK (#14 - see The Greatest Hits) and most other European countries since 1980's The Magic Of Boney M. - 20 Golden Hits.
Casting Call
The album covers of some editions of the Gold career retrospective declared that these were the 'original masters' which was a truth with modification since producer Farian not only had edited most of the tracks but also had provided them with synthesized 90's percussion (disco hi-hats, sampled tambourines and handclaps). These new-ish mixes have since been presented as the original 70's versions on most Boney M. hit collections issued in the 90's and 2000's, including 2006's The Magic of Boney M..
Bethemoviestar.com, the world’s biggest open casting call has been an incredible success since launching in December. Movie star hopefuls have submitted their audition clips in droves. Now, clips of auditions for Steve Nesbit’s upcoming film, entitled Rapture, can be seen on Bethemoviestar.com and rated by site visitors.

Gold - 20 Super Hits/The Greatest Hits included a new "Boney M. Megamix" which had given Boney M. their 10th UK Top 10 entry in December of 1992 (#7, 7 weeks. Germany #26, 11 weeks.).
After the initial casting call, the most talented actors have been selected to take part in a series of screen tests that will determine the shortlist of five male and five female actors. Like the audition clips, the screen tests will be made available online for rating and comments.

Rapture Teaser
It is 2018. Urban decay is rife. Crime, drugs and poverty have reached epidemic levels.

The streets are bloody with violent gang warfare and are ruled by the city crime lord, Eshu, who traffics the deadly narcotic, Rapture, to the desperate and depraved.

In the cold fall, a cruel mutilation and murder of a pregnant woman sends ripples through the bleak city. A blind young woman is found at the scene of the crime. She is Alara, an escaped patient from the local asylum, and although senseless and unhinged she holds the key to solving the murder. She encounters Joseph, the murdered woman's brother, and together they unravel the secrets of the dark city.

Lead Roles
Alara is blind. She has lived her whole life inside an institution and has had little contact with humans and none with the outside world or society. She is entirely dysfunctional.
Alara is inspirational to our audience, as despite her living what we would consider a cruel existence, she remains loving and pure hearted.
She is plagued by terrifying visions and premonitions, which she cannot always make sense of, but it is this unique quality that makes her valuable to hostile forces.

Joseph enters as the quiet unassuming brother of a murder victim. He has no noticeable presence or ambition. In fact he is a man who would shy away from a challenge. Joseph's goal in life is to simply fit in with society and surround himself with calm. Joseph's revelation comes as he finds that his world has been a succession of lies to protect him from his family's tragic and complex history. When he is forced to take up the ultimate challenge, he discovers the warrior and hero within.

Support Roles
The Doctor: David Hershel (Principle Support Role)

Hershel is a doctor who runs the local asylum and performs experiments on the residents.
Hershel is motivated by his scientific ambition and will stop at nothing to fulfil his hunger for knowledge.
Hershel's ethics are questionable to say the least.

The Detective: Frank Mendel (Principle Support Role)

Mendel is a fast talking, chain smoking and gum chewing arrogant detective.
Mendel has a very high opinion of himself and no regard or respect for his colleagues, whom he regularly insults through the course of his work.
Mendel is self-interested, scheming, but very good at his job, which is why he has kept it for so long.

The Grandfather: James (Principle Support Role)

James is Joseph and Kate's grandfather. He is sage, kind and the gentleman that we would all like to be. James is revealed to be a key figure in the story and his character is multi faceted. James has lived alone since the death of his wife, but tries to keep himself and the house well preserved in her honour. James and his wife were responsible for raising Joseph and Kate following their parents' death. This is a challenging role, requiring a full range of acting skills with some action involved.
Male 60+ medium build.

The Sister: Kate (Secondary Support Role)

Kate is the murder victim and sister of the male lead.
She appears in detail at the beginning as a murdered, pregnant woman and throughout the film in apparition sequences. Kate has a kind demeanour, she is gentle, maternal and warm. However she has the ability to look wild and evil within apparitions.
Female, mid twenties - mid thirties. Regular / slim build.

The Butcher: Bill Taylor (Secondary Support Role)

Butcher is a large henchman who does not speak, but his look is so powerful and threatening that he does not need to. Butcher looks like he could snap you in two with his fingers. He face looks simple, with his mouth often hanging open but he is far more intelligent than he looks, and he is a loyal servant to the death.
Male, 30+, Heavy build, race unimportant.

The Street Rat: Anli Bardici (Secondary Support Role)

Anli and his brother are sinister hit men, Anli is far stronger than his appearance suggests. He will stop at nothing to serve his master. Anli is the spokesman for the pair and has a better way with words than his brother.
Male 18 - 25, slight build, race unimportant.

The Street Rat: Besim Bardici (Secondary Support Role)

Anli's brother is quieter and even more sinister, he doesn't speak much but there is a violence in his gaze. Besim rarely speaks, and when he does it is generally crude or very significant.
Male, 18-25, slight build, race to match Anli Bardici.
The Father: Alek Bardici (Secondary Support Role)

Alek, is Anli and Besim's father, he is a humble, hard working man at the complete mercy of the savage world that surrounds him.
Alek wanted much more for his two sons, but they ended up as street rats. Alek has the unconditional love of a father, and it breaks his heart to see them controlled by Rapture and it's evil pedlar.
The Amazonian: Natasa Arcos (Secondary Support Role)

Natasa is a soldier working for a positive resistance movement. She is very fit and athletic, with an unparalleled skill in close combat. She is entirely committed to her job and is exceptionally good at it. Natasa appears to be gentle and feminine, although with a strong build, but when called for, she can stand up to any adversary. She is a warm and beautiful action hero. She is Amazonian in spirit, not stature.

The Herculean: Charlie Sathu (Secondary Support Role)

Charlie is Natasa's male counterpart. He is the eyes and ears of the pair and rarely speaks. He is every part the warrior that Natasa is, but his shortage of skills are compensated by his huge strength and courage. He is the brawn of the pair.

The Interrogator: Lena Kusta (Secondary Support Role)

This female detective is a stereotypical, hardball aggressive interrogator.
She works with Frank Mendel, which is a toil for her, as the butt of his frequent misogynistic jokes. Mendel angers her, but there is no denying that he is brilliant at his job, and this is very frustrating for her, and understandably she exhibits a great deal of displacement anger.

The Asylum Guard: Robert Meeks (Minor Support Role - Speaking Part)

Robert is one of a pair who protect the asylum and lead around the inmates. He is unnecessarily brutal and has no respect for the inmates or visitors. It feels as if his life mission is to bully and intimidate everyone that he comes across.
Male 30+ Heavy build.
