In Greek mythology, Typhon (ancient Greek: Τυφῶν), also Typhoeus (Τυφωεύς), Typhaon (Τυφάων) or Typhus (Τυφώς) is the final son of Gaia, with Tartarus; Typhon attempts to replace Zeus as the king of gods and men. Hesiod narrates his birth:

The film brings forth the true facts on milk with a bite of sarcasm on it’s social impact along with the many recently raised questions regarding hormones, bone health, allergies, lactose intolerance, diabetes, cancer, methane, food assistant programs and the conduct of studies that the dairy industry bases it’s advertising.
:Tartarus, by the aid of golden Aphrodite. —Hesiod, Theogony 820-822.
In the alternative account of the origin of Typhaon, the Homeric Hymn to Apollo makes the monster Typhaon at Delphi a son of archaic Hera in her Minoan form, produced out of herself, like a monstrous version of Hephaestus, and whelped in a cave in Cilicia and confined there in the enigmatic land of the Arimi— en Arimois (Iliad, ii. 781-783). It was in Cilicia that Zeus battled with the ancient monster and overcame him, in a more complicated story: It was not an easy battle, and Typhon temporarily overcame Zeus, cut the "sinews" from him and left him in the "leather sack", the korukos that is the etymological origin of the korukion atron, the Korykian or Corycian Cave in which Zeus suffers temporary eclipse as if in the Land of the Dead. The region of Cilicia in southeastern Anatolia had many opportunities for coastal Hellenes' connection with the Hittites to the north. From the first reappearance of the Hittite myth of Illuyankas, it has been seen as a prototype of the battle of Zeus and Typhon. Walter Burkert and Calvert Watkins each note the close agreements. Watkins' How to Kill a Dragon: Aspects of Indo-European Poetics (Oxford University Press) 1995, reconstructs in disciplined detail the flexible Indo-European poetic formula that underlies myth, epic and magical charm texts of the lashing and binding of Typhon.
The inveterate enemy of the Olympian gods is described in detail by Hesiod as a vast grisly monster with a hundred snakelike heads "with dark flickering tongues" flashing fire from their eyes and a din of voices and a hundred serpents issuing from his thighs, a feature shared by many primal monsters of Greek myth that extend in serpentine or scaly coils from the waist down. The titanic struggle created earthquakes and tsunamis. Once conquered by Zeus' thunderbolts, Typhon was cast into Tartarus, the common destiny of many such archaic adversaries, or he was confined beneath Mount Aetna (Pindar, Pythian Ode 1.19 - 20; Aeschylus, Prometheus Bound 370). where "his bed scratches and goads the whole length of his back stretched out against it," or in other volcanic regions, where he is the cause of eruptions.
Typhon is thus the chthonic figuration of volcanic forces, as Hephaestus (Roman Vulcan) is their "civilized" Olympian manifestation. Amongst his children by Echidna are Cerberus, the serpent-like Lernaean Hydra, the Chimera, the hundred-headed dragon Ladon, the half-woman half-lion Sphinx, the two-headed wolf Orthus, Ethon the eagle who tormented Prometheus, and the Nemean Lion.

Typhon is also the father of hot dangerous storm winds which issue forth from the stormy pit of Tartarus, according to Hesiod.
His name is apparently derived from the Greek "typhein", to smoke, hence it is considered to be a possible etymology for the word typhoon, supposedly borrowed by the Persians (as طوفان Tufân) and Arabs to describe the cyclonic storms of the Indian Ocean. The Greeks also frequently represented him as a storm-daemon, especially in the version where he stole Zeus's thunderbolts and wrecked the earth with storms (cf. Hesiod, Theogony; Nonnus, Dionysiaca).

Since Herodotus, Typhon has been identified with the Egyptian Set (interpretatio Graeca). In the Orphic tradition, Typhon leads the Titans when they attack and kill Dionysus, just as Set is responsible for the murder of Osiris. Furthermore, the slaying of Typhon by Zeus is analogous to the killing of Vritra by Indra (also a lightning deity), and two stories likely are ultimately derived from a common Indo-European myth.

Alexandre Farto (vulgo Vhils) iniciou-se em 1998;

Introduction
es:Tifón (mitología)
fr:Typhon (mythologie)
Based out of Denton, TX, perhaps the most influential band of our time, or, indeed, any time, The Nutrients are a humble trio who insist that despite the adoring fans and constant revenue off of merchandise, their only goals are "to spread peace and peas through out the galaxy".
hr:Tifon
ko:티폰
Whether they're tearing up their instruments with powerful, catchy, tantalizing, backbreaking three chord songs or sticking it to the man, the nutrients are transforming the lives of boys and girls, trannies and poets alike, day in and day out. Getting their start in 1992, these health enthusiasts have been dedicated to the promotion of the combination of organic fruits, veggies, soy products, and the power of music for years.
it:Tifone (mitologia)
he:טיפון
Though The Nutrients have toured countless amounts of miles and played endless amounts of shows, they are most excited about the prospect of playing a Hogwarts gig very soon. Two of their members, Eggplant Emily and Amino Ashley, attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and discovered a mutual love for nutrition in the Ravenclaw common room. Amino Ashley later then met Mikey Mineral at a nakid sky diving competition.
la:Typhon
lb:Typhon (Mythologie)
Not one song has ever dissapointed their loyal listeners since their start, and The Nutrients don't plan on stopping that trend any time soon.

The Early Years
pl:Tyfon
pt:Tifão
Ashley and Emily have been friends since middle school and meet Mical in college. They wanted to form a band that had their beliefs in the music.

The current, and original line up:<br />

Guitar, Vocals: emily eggplant<br />
zh:堤丰
Bass, Back up vocals: amino ashley<br />
Drums: mikey mineral
Where are they now?
The band broke up in 2006 after a love triangle between the members. The remaining members have been forced to nine to five jobs like the rest of us smoes. Ashley is now a manager at a theater. Mical works at Hasting and Emily moved to Paris and was never heard of again. But a reunion might be in the works. Ashley and Mical are looking for a new lead guitarist.

Manchester artist Charlie Shiels follows an age old tradition of individualism and idiosyncratic British art, developing his style over the last 25 years.

His paintings often include public meeting places- Public Houses, European and American cafe bars, restaurants and Grand hotels. Spots such as these prove to be ideal opportunities to observe the subject matter in detail.
Much of the work focuses on transitory groups of people with focus on facial expressions, body language and human interaction.
Good humored and affectionate images include sometimes bizarre characters and distorted locations.
Light and shade play a large part in the overall effect of the paintings.
Influences
Shiels takes his influences from a wide range: Rembrandt, Marc Chagall, Stanley Spencer, Mark Rothko, and the background artists of Walt Disney.
Traveling increased the inspiration gained for each piece, as did visiting art galleries, architecturally interesting places, and many 'quirkier' cafe bars.

</gallery>
Prior to beginning a new oil painting or series, a number of pencil sketches with pastel color reference or watercolor are produced, and large canvasses take many months to complete.
Career
Charlie Sheils currently lives in Manchester but travels widely.
After leaving school and perusing a variety of jobs, thought maintaining his interest in art by painting in his spare time and exhibiting in group and open shows around north west England.
Aged 29 Charlie enrolled in a full time three year Fine art B.A (hons) course. Following this a period of free-lance work (commercial illustration and commissions) then at 38 began teaching Art and Design part time at Stockport College of further Education. This progressed to full time work and soon a promotion to Senior Lecturer.
In 1996 Sheils left teaching to devote himself to full time painting.
His work has been featured in a one ma exhibition at The Unicorn Gallery, Chelsea in 1999, as well as a full page article in The Art Review (1999). Another major exhibition at the Woolff Gallery, Shoreditch, London in 2002, and in a full page article in the Artists and Illustrators magazine in 2003. He also held a one man exhibition at the Blyth Gallery, Manchester, October 2003.

Seafood Gay; also known as Boaz Leung; was proposed by his brother in his childhood. This name started gaining higher popularity around the early 20's. He is the pioneer and the most well known seafood gay on the planet. Seafood actually not referred to ordinary seafood that most people known; but as "butt" in Chinese. And "Gay" means he is gay.
