Over more than 19 months of being elected sysop here<!-- not a very long time, I admit -->, I have been one of the [[:xtools:adminstats/metawiki/2020-02-17/2020-09-29\|most]] [[:xtools:adminstats/metawiki/2020-09-30/2021-09-29\|~~most~~ active administrators]], making up more than 18,000 edits, and logged over 9,000 admin actions. [[User:MONUMENTA\|MONUMENTA]] ([[User talk:MONUMENTA\|talk]]) 19:58, 3 October 2021 (UTC)▼ As part of my duties, I deal with cross-wiki abusers, spambots, and sockpuppeters fairly often, and in many situations CU tools would benefit - see for example [[Special:Contributions/Голго\|this case]], in which I blocked 7 accounts until a steward had to do [[Special:Redirect/logid/43633913\|a local check]], [[Special:Diff/21939870/22074319\|this one]], and [[Special:Diff/21745903/21754896\|this another]]. I am applying for CheckUser in order to stop serial vandals, rather than playing an endless Whac-A-Mole game when blocking them. I expect to get involved at [[WM:RFCU\|RFCU]] as well.
