i've read that joe elliott played in various bands before def leppard, not all of them as a singer, but i'm pretty sure these were garage band type bands. they all probably played covers of other peoples' songs.

The city of Eslöv received its privileges in [[1911]] after incorporating the town of Västra Sallerup. Eslöv had been a town by its own since [[1875]]. Today the city has a growing population of 15,400 (1996). Eslöv was but a small village until the Southern Railline (''[[Södra Stambanan]]'') between [[Stockholm]] and [[Malmö]] was run through in the mid-1800's. Trade flourished around the new station and eventually it also attracted industrial settlings. Among the city's companies are ''Procordia Food AB'' (''former Felix AB'').
The muncipality has many intresting places. There are 11 castles. '''Hjularöd'''s castle was the place for the swedish Tv classic '''Mystery of Greveholm''' sent by [[SVT]]. In the '''Västra Strö''' village there are old rune stones from ca year 1000. Sweden largest and almost only sugar refinery lies in '''Örtofta''' in south of Eslöv. In Eslöv there are two nature reserves, Allmänningen and Abullahagen. The Stone Mountain, Eslöv Church and Hotel Sten Stensson Sten with the famous "Scanian Stair" lie in the middle of Eslöv.
