'''Eyehategod''' is an [[United States|American]] [[Heavy metal music|heavy metal]] band from [[Louisiana]] who are known for their dark, sludgy riffs combined with equally dark lyrics. Like many [[sludge metal]] bands, Eyehategod draw on both stoner/doom influences as well as [[hardcore punk]].

Heavy, detuned, [[blues]]y riffs dominate the band's sound. They are combined with walls of feedback and distinctive tortured vocals to create a truly [[misanthropic]] vibe. Their records have been released consistently by [[Emetic Records]].

He was born in [[St. Petersburg]], and by [[1928]] he had graduated from the [[University of Leningrad]]. In [[1931]] he began working at the [[Pulkovo Observatory]], located to the south of Leningrad.

Mike Williams is currently in prison awaiting sentencing on an unknown charge.

He is most noted for his observation of the [[transient lunar phenomenon]] in [[Alphonsus (crater)|Alphonsus crater]] on the [[Moon]]. In [[1958]] he observed a patch of white within the crater, and a [[spectrum]] of the area appeared to reveal an emission cloud of [[carbon]] particles. Transient lunar phenomenon had long recorded what appeared to be temporary emissions on the lunar surface, and Kozyrev's observation appeared to provide confirmation that the Moon was [[Vulcanism|volcanically]] active.
