Thank you for speaking up on the behalf of a user you did not even know. I appreciate your efforts for justice. Should you have any lingering concerns, I encourage you to come to my talk page and join the dialog there on what has occured. Discussion is the best way to calm stormy waters. <font color=#0000ff>The</font><font color=#ff7f00>Chief</font> (<font color=#0000ff>Pow</font><font color=#ff7f00>Wow</font>) 17:30, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
I joined Wikipedia on October 23, 2005, after reading (over a period of several months) probably hundreds of articles and then eventually editing a bunch without creating an account. Someone suggested I create an account, so I did.

Ignore all rules
First, obviously, if rule 5 were deleted, it would become four pillars rather than five. I think that any change to the four/five pillars should be well discussed on its talk page first. Failure to do so would be to ignore all rules, which could be seen as WP:POINT.

I personally think that the five pillars document is fine, because it says that there are no rules other than those listed, and the writers' rules of engagement are one of the pillars. The real problem is that Ignore All Rules is the wrong summary of the guideline, and is sufficiently wrong as to be a destructive title, because it can easily be read as meaning that one can ignore civility. == Biases ==

Thanks Susvolans - I'm just taking baby steps for now Redkaty 14:38, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
News Flash: I have some.

Final decision
However, if you find bias in anything I have written, SUCK MY COCK BITCH CAUS U CANT DO SHIT. If you point it out to me politely, I will respond politely, and we can work together to improve the article.
The arbitration committee has reached a final decision in the Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Louis Epstein case &rarr;Raul654 02:12, 12 November 2005 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
When i was 5 my mama sold me as a man whore. I am not going to list all (or any) of my possible areas of bias here. Everybody is biased on some subject to one extent or another, and it's usually on subjects that interest them -- and many, many things interest me. Speaking for myself, the topics that interest me the most are the topics where you will find me doing something more than just correcting the occasional spelling or formatting error, but I think that probably goes for most people.

Regarding the revert; the claim that all five pillars are unchangeable has no foundation in policy, why is it there then? Is the Wikipedia:Five pillars, wrong? -- Zondor 17:42, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

ThingsUpdated I'm Learningpoll
I have completely changed the poll. Please see Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (years in titles)/Poll --AllyUnion (talk) 02:39, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Although I was using Wikipedia as a reference source for months, and tweaked a couple of articles here and there (usually nothing more than correcting a spelling mistake) before a flurry of activity prompted someone to suggest I actually join, now that I have joined and have to take some measure of responsibility for what I do, I am more likely to stop and ask myself, "Is what I am about to do the best course of action?" Sometimes it is, and sometimes, believe it or not, I learn something. Here are some things I am learning:

May I ask why you moved "—All You Zombies—" to “—All You Zombies—”? &mdash; flamingspinach | (talk) 06:13, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
* Although it appears to be the norm in many articles, it is not good practice to link every single occurrence of a year (e.g., 1967) in an article to that year's page. While this obviously makes sense generally anyway, I often see articles that link to the page for a particular year even when there is no information on the year's page relevant to the article that links to it. See the Wikipedia guidelines "Make only links relevant to the context", "Manual of Style (links): Internal links" and "Manual of Style (dates and numbers): Date formatting" for more information.

* Using footnotes and citing sources isn't as simple as you might think!

I wouldn't know how, but why would you want to anyway? Martin 14:32, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
* Some editors have an agenda.
:Aha, so you mean find occurances where it was expanded when it used this revision of the prettytable. In which case the only way I think you could find them would be to get someone to use an SQL query on the database dump, but I don't know how successful that would be. At the moment I am not capable of doing this, but plently of other people are. Martin 16:10, 22 November 2005 (UTC)

* More to be added later, I'm sure.

Cool Stuff on this Page
Anything on this page that looks remotely cool I have brazenly stolen from other cool user pages on Wikipedia:

* The design (including the calendar) on the column on the right is from Hall Monitor.
* The date and time on the right are from Serhiodudnic.
* And I occasionally use templates I find to inflate the stuff in my Babel box.

Thanks everyone!
