Uh, yeah, about that – although I created the rewrite script, I was actually taking a (several month) wikibreak when it was made the default script. It certainly looks like there's a fair bit of overlap/confusion/etc surrounding the scripts... there should ideally only be one talkpage, I agree. If I have a second I'll look into consolidating them...
