Under the section "background" it says "and hardpoints were fitted for an external weapons load of up to 10 lbs."

This is horridly incorrect, nothing useful in the way of Air ot Air or Air to ground weapons is 10lbs, and I am sure it can carry more then 10lbs on its hardpoints, but I dont know the exact numbers, so I wont change it. But someone who does, should

The song, which is said to be very similar to traditional Irish folk music, was originally just instrumental before Irish author [[Brendan Graham]] put words to it.

It was originally recorded by Irish singer [[Brian Kennedy]] on the 2001 album ''[[Once in a Red Moon]]'' and sold well in both Ireland and Norway. The song was also commonly used for 9/11 attack commemorations even though it had not been released in America.

Added overwing pylon info. Note that they were initially tested with the Mantra R550 Magic, only later did they qualify the AIM-9 for use with the overwing pylons. --

It was subsequently recorded by [[Daniel O'Donnell (Irish singer)|Daniel O'Donnell]] in 2003 and was a minor hit throughout Ireland and the UK.

Later in 2003, after hearing Brian Kennedy's original version, American [[Josh Groban]] recorded the song which proved very popular in the US. His version made it to the top of the [[Billboard magazine|Billboard]] and was also performed just after NASA's Columbia disaster. This recording also was nominated for the 2005 [[Grammy]] award.

Australian Idol Top 12 contestant [[Daniel Belle]] sang it as a song for the song selection '''"Pop"''' in [[Australian Idol]] 2004.

In 2004 alone, the song has been played more than 500,000 times on American radio. In late 2005, there were over 80 scores available in USA alone, and it has become nominated for [[Gospel Music Awards]] four times, including "Song of the year".

The song returned to glory back in Ireland when Irish boyband [[Westlife]] became the 100th artist to record the song. Westlife (Europe's biggest ever boy band) brought the song around the world and brought it to number 1 in most EU countries (including the band's and song's home of Ireland)

Westlife won "Record of the year 2005" in the UK, and are tipped to do well at the Meteors in Ireland, it's their 15th Irish #1.

Brian Kennedy has re-released the single after performing it at legendary Irish soccer player [[George Best]]'s funeral. Brian has returned to the spotlight in Ireland once again after being named Ireland's 2006 entrant in the [[Eurovision Song Contest]].
