Users enter the promotion year, enlisted grade, their date of [[Total Active Federal Military Service]], date of their last promotion, [[Enlisted Performance Report|EPR]]s, [[Awards and decorations of the United States military|military decorations]], and an estimate of the [[Air Force Promotion Cutoff Score|promotion cutoff score]] in the Web page's form. The calculator displays the entered data plus the estimated score if the airman is eligible for promotion during the promotion cycle. An ineligible airman will see an error page with references to relevant Air Force promotion publications and Web sites.
