It includes the server-side scripting language PHP, the web server Apache, the SQL server MySQL, as well as development tools such as the database manager PhpMyAdmin, the debugger Xdebug and many others.

EasyPHP exists in two versions : as a local development server<ref>{{cite web |url=http://felixidea.com/how-to-create-a-local-website/ |title=How to Create a Local Website |publisher=Felix Idea |date=2013-5-13}}</ref> (EasyPHP DevServer)or a personnal web server (EasyPHP WebServer).

All versions work on Windows XP/Vista/7/8.
