== Wikidata alternative ==
Hi! There is now [[d:Property:P1447|a property]] for Sports Reference ID in Wikidata. I have imported the IDs used in this template from all Wikipedias, so it can now be used on Wikipedias by using a module. I have made [[:no:Modul:SportsReference|a module]] in the Norwegian (Bokmål) Wikipedia that can be copied here and be used with some modification – if you would like me to help set it up, I'd be more than happy to help (just [[:no:Brukerdiskusjon:Jon Harald Søby|let me know]]). The module will use the ID from Wikidata preferentially, but if there is no ID on Wikidata it can take an argument from the local wiki, and will categorise pages that are missing the ID in Wikidata. The reason I set it up that way is that I discovered there are many erroneous IDs used on Wikipedias, and it is much simpler to fix in Wikidata, especially since we have [[d:Wikidata:Database reports/Constraint violations/P1447|this nifty report]] of errors. One more thing, the Wikidata property ''does not'' support links for countries (and country-specific Olympic articles), but that can easily be circumvented in the template itself. == Parametro codice SportReference ==
Nei prossimi giorni farò una passata col bot sulle circa 10000 voci che usano il template per rimuovere dal codice la parte finale ".html" (per Carl Lewis sarà quindi "le/carl-lewis-1" invece dell'attuale "le/carl-lewis-1.html") in modo da renderlo compatibile con Wikidata e le altre wiki, dove è già così. == Passaggio a Wikidata ==
La quasi totalità degli utilizzi del template (9500 su 10000) ha il codice già identico a quello presente su Wikidata. Quindi, nei prossimi giorni, in assenza di pareri contrari, passerò col bot sui template per rimuovere il parametro e ottenere il codice da Wikidata (esempio: sostituirò nei collegamenti esterni la riga <nowiki>{{SchedaSR|me/dino-meneghin-1}} con {{SchedaSR}}</nowiki>). == Doppio identificativo su wikidata ==
a volte mi è capitato di trovare (es: [[Chan Peng Soon]]) un doppio identificatore SR su wikidata, in teoria entrambi corretti e con le stesse informazioni, varia solo l'ordinamento del nome ([[d:Q1061577]]).

: In questi casi [//it.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:SchedaSR&diff=prev&oldid=83839993 aggiungo] al template Wikidata il parametro n=1, che seleziona solo il primo identificatore. Se invece si volessero visualizzare entrambi gli identificatori allora bisognerà fare delle modifiche al codice, magari anche solo al [[Modulo:Citazione]] in modo da fargli gestire un parametro "url" con più valori. --[[Utente:Rotpunkt|Rotpunkt]] ([[Discussioni utente:Rotpunkt|msg]]) 12:28, 18 ott 2016 (CEST)
