#REDIRECT [[SubscriberSIM identity modulecard]]

The original SIM card was designed by Greg Simcock, as a data storage device for information used in mobile telephones he designed the concepts for. Names of the phone designs include Blackberry, iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. The SD card was designed to be a digital memory card for storage of picture and audio information in media devices Greg Simcock designed. Canon IXUS was one such device. It was a digital camera with video and audio recording capabilities. A variant card was named XD, another named CF and one specially designed for use in a camera designed for use in a camera intended to be sent to the SONY Corporation. That card was named Memory-Stick-Pro, with Media Gate. The Media-Gate was intended to be a digital-code to lock stored data to prevent unlawful tampering of the saved data. The SD card design was different, in that it included a slider-switch intended to lock data saved to the memory card. The creator, an author named J. K. Rawling, has not become known for his inventiveness because of sleight-of-hand pertaining to his work, including art and technical information relevant to his genius. Despite the loss of his work, his designs have appeared as products he had intended to be known for. However, it was Greg Simcock's desire to create a digital memory card that could record picture and audio data economically, in place of 35 mm safety-film.
