Lars Eidinger, born in Berlin, studied at the prestigious Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art in Berlin.(imdb.minibio)
Since 1999 he has been an ensemble member at the Berliner Schaubühne. His portrayals of Hamlet and Richard III. in the productions of Thomas Ostermeier were internationally acclaimed and made him into a formative actor of the Schaubühne.(imdb.minibio)

In 2013, Lars Eidinger received the German Film Critics' Prize as Best Actor and in 2014 the Grimme Award.
