hello hello. I'm a very new editor, I wanted to make a page about a vocaloid (i hope somebody knows what that is). I created a draft and began writing, is there anything I need to know on how to make it a reliable article? :Hello, @[[User:BryantK2022|BryantK2022]]. On a quick look, most of your cited sources are either not independent (published by FileCloud, or quoting them), or are about the product not the company, or are [[WP:CORPTRIV|routine business announcements]] - none of which contribute to establishing that the company meets Wikipedia's criteria for [[WP:notability|notability]].
:You need at least three sources each of which meets ''all'' the criteria in [[WP:42]] - and by far the most efficient way of creating an article is to find this first, before you start writing. (Writing an article [[WP:backwards|backwards]] - as most beginners do - is like building a house without first building foundations or even surveying to site).
:As for other articles: some of those 3-citation articles may have three really high quality independent secondary sources; but in most cases the article dates from before we were so careful, and was never reviewed or "accepted". Unfortunately, we have thousands and thousands of seriously substandard articles which ought to be improved or eleted; but this being a volunteer project, most people want to work on shiny new articles and not go back and bring the existing ones up to scratch: see [[WP:other stuff exists|other stuff exists]]. If you want to point out a couple of those undersourced articles, maybe somebody will take a look at them.

:Hi @[[User:BryantK2022|BryantK2022]]. Each draft must stand on it's own merits, and we don't compare them to existing articles. Wikipedia has many millions of articles, tens of thousands of which are poor quality and should be improved or deleted. As we're a volunteer project no one has gotten around to doing that yet. If you have found articles that are of poor quality, please do feel free to improve them or nominate them for deletion. We don't want to add ''more'' poor quality articles to the project. Many older articles were also created before standards were as strict and may not meet modern notability requirements, or were created directly bypassing the Articles for Creation process, or were created before the Articles for Creation process even existed.

Just dropping a huge list of site names is not helpful; you need specific information in an article to redirect to the exact place where the content in the article is found. Just saying "NFL.com" or "Google.com" is insufficient. In addition, just being a football player is not enough to pass Wikipedia's definition of notability. This draft has been rejected, so will need to be fundamentally rewritten to meet Wikipedia's standards to be reconsidered. :Hi, it appears you're writing about yourself, and before you go any further, you need to read and understand [[WP:AUTO]]. Starting a new article from scratch is one of the hardest tasks in Wikipedia, and people who successfully write autobiographies are very rare. To successfully do so, you need to know Wikipedia rules inside and out, and be able to completely separate yourself, ignoring anything you know about your own life, and only source it from reliable, ''independent'' sources providing significant coverage ''about'' you.
:The article you've written provides no such sources, and without sources, there's no article. You also use very flowery, promotional language. It's a tertiary concern at this point, but it's also very hard to read the article at all, as it's just a giant wall of text with sentences thrown together in no particular order.
:At this point, before even thinking about writing about yourself, you should familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and start off by making smaller, simple edits to articles. I would still recommend against writing an autobiography, and waiting for uninvolved editors to choose to write an article about you as a notable subject, but without more experience first, you may be spending a lot of time working on a draft that has basically no chance of being accepted. This draft was most certainly at least edited by an LLM, a fact that becomes even more clear when viewing {{diff|oldid=1292716321|label=the initial text}}, which was since cleaned up to remove some of the most obvious hallmarks. Hello! I'm working on a draft article [Draft:John_C._Volin] which satisfies [WP:NPROF] criteria #6, specifically point #6b, as he is the current president of Gustavus Adolphus College. I only really have two references, one of which is a publication from the institution, but [WP:NPROF] point #6a says that since it is being used "For documenting that a person has held such a post" it would be considered a reliable source. The reviewer said it was a promising article, but it just needed some clarification and justification.
I based the structure of the draft off of the existing article for our previous president [Rebecca_M._Bergman]. In that article, two of the three references there are the same URL pointing to the institution's "President's Office" page, and yet it still got accepted.
The problem I'm having is that it looks like almost all of the content was removed and hidden due to an RD1 violation, but as stated in my multiple COI declarations, I am an employee of the college and own the copyright for that content. I'm not sure if I need to do another total re-write or what, because rearranging the sentences in 1.5 paragraphs doesn't seem like it will be satisfactory either. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
