Duttapukur is located in the [[Ganges]] [[Brahmaputra]] delta region in the district of [[North 24 parganas]], [[West Bengal]] state in the [[East India|Eastern part of India]]. A tributary of [[Bidyadhari River]] known as Suti flows through Duttapukur.
