Il brano fu scritto e composto dall'autore [[Regno Unito|britannico]], e [[Omonimia|omonimo]] di [[Michael Jackson]], Michael "Mick" Jackson e da suo fratello David, con l'aiuto di Elmar Krohn, e da loro anche inciso come [[demo]] tra il 1977 e il 1978. La canzone venne poi spedita al [[MIDEM]], una fiera annuale internazionale focalizzata sull'industria musicale che si tiene a [[Cannes]], [[Francia]]. Fu lì che [[Joe Jackson (manager)|Joe Jackson]], padre e [[manager]] dei Jacksons, ascoltò la canzone, e decise che era il sound di cui i suoi figli avevano bisogno per fare il loro grande ritorno dopo i loro primi due album di modesto successo alla Epic. Il [[Video musicale|videoclip]], il secondo della band dopo quello realizzato per ''[[Enjoy Yourself (The Jacksons)|Enjoy Yourself]]'', venne girato nel 1978 e vedeva i cinque fratelli, distorti da alcuni effetti grafici, ballare di fronte ad uno sfondo nero.
