For Allall Tidtid (Norwegian: "For All Time" in english) is the firstdebut [[studio album by Norwegian symphonic black metal byband Dimmu Borgir. It was recordedreleased andin mixed1995 atthrough StovnerNo Colours. It was remastered and re-released in 1997 through their new label Blast with the front cover art in full color and the entire i evighetens mørke EP, releasedadded. inIt 1994is andthe re-issuedband's inonly studio album on which 1997Shagrath withis theiron new labeldrums, NuclearTjodalv Blaston Recordsguitar and Silenoz on vocals.

The artwork displayed on the front cover of the album is inspired by Gustave Doré's illustration of Camelot from Idylls of the King.
This is easily Dimmu Borgir's most "grim" sounding album, due to its harsh recording, trebly guitars, and vocals entrenched in reverb. However, blast-beating drums are used more sparingly than many of their peers at the time, and instead, the drums flow evenly with the riffs. Keyboard usage is more minimal here than on their later works, and only really accents the guitars. The music is also in a darker, more somber and depressing tone than traditional evil sounding chords.

In their favourable review of the album, AllMusic wrote, "The production is awful, boasting thin and sharp guitars, muted drumming and echoing vocals that sound like what it might have been like to stand outside of their rehearsal hall. But somehow the songs manage to overcome the production, offering a somewhat beautiful (albeit warped) view of heavy metal that comes off far more ambitious than a band in their position usually does."
