The 2022 Garry's Mod hacking incident began on June 1st, 2022, when the creator of the "Glue Library" addon to [[Garry's Mod]] was banned from the game. The Glue Library addon wasn't the only Garry's Mod addon affected, as other addons were hacked to display the jumpscares once the player loaded in. Not only would the jumpscares show NSFW content, but they would also play loud screaming noises.
