Il 22 agosto 2016, è stato annunciato che Scurll aveva firmato con la [[Ring Ofof Honor]]. Ha fatto il suo debutto durante il tour inglese della federazione, durante il quale sconfisse Will Osprey in un match valevole per il [[ROH World Television Championship]]. Il 29 aprile 2017 a [[ROH Masters Of The Craft]], Scurll ha mantenuto il ROH World Television Championship contro Ken Anderson.

Durante il tour giapponese War Of The Worlds co-prodotto da NJPW e ROH, Scurll entrò a far parte del [[Bullet Club]], ma perse il titolo contro Kushida a causa di una distrazione causata dell'ex membro [[Adam Cole]]

Nel 2017, la [[New Japan Pro -Wrestling]] ha annunciato che Scurll avrebbe preso parte al torneo [[Best of the Super Juniors 2017]]. Concluse il torneo vincendo 4 match e perdendone 3, non riuscendo ad accedere alla finale. Il 5 novembre a Power Struggle ha sconfitto Will Osprey in un match valevole per il [[IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship]]. Il 4 gennaio 2018 perse il titolo in un match a 4 che comprendeva [[Hiromu Takahashi]], [[Kushida (wrestler)|Kushida]] e [[Will OspreyOspreay]], con quest'ultimo che riconquistò il titolo.
