Etichetta discografica creata tra il '94 e il '95 da Dexter Holland e Noodles (vocalist e chitarrista dei The Offspring) decisi, dopo il gran successo dell' Album Smash (1994) nel rendersi indipendenti da ogni etichetta. La Nitro Records ebbe però vita breve infatti nel periodo successivo alla pubblicazione di The Offspring (album originalmente del 1989),che fu una completa delusione e non ottenne il successo desiderato, i due dovettero abbandonare il loro progetto e la Nitro Records venne dimenticata velocemente.
