"Mr Bull"? I am not sure you have got the right person. I will admit I enjoy his songs and performances both on his own and with the various bands he has and does play with - and so your comment regarding a conflict is noted. However, the changes that have been made in the various articles - which go beyond band members are factually correct. - unsigned|203.94.161.203

Hello, Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry. It has been over six months since you last edited the [[WP:AFC|Articles for Creation]] submission or [[WP:Drafts|Draft]] page you started, "[[Draft:Museum of the Integrated Police|Museum of the Integrated Police]]".
== Random comment ==
Are you a Republican operative or what. I added legitimate criticism of the Bush regime! You are practicing censorship and partisan preference. {{unsigned|68.189.77.15}}
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia [[WP:mainspace|mainspace]], the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply {{edit|Draft:Museum of the Integrated Police|edit the submission}} and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}}, {{tlc|db-draft}}, or {{tlc|db-g13}} code.
==Nonsense?==
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at [[WP:REFUND/G13|this link]]. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
If you had checked my edits, i havent added nonsense. Deathrocker and Danteferno both have been removing cited information and replacing it with their views, even though their views conflict with many of the articles on the subject. When their changes have been reverted by many users, they claim them all as sockpuppets of another user, and then proceed to perform reverts while changing large sections of articles, while removing refrences and source links from those articles. Also, on several of the articles both of them have claimed the edits they make are better than others simply because 'they dislike X band' or 'they dislike X form of music'. So im not adding nonsense, im simply keeping in like with policys.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! <!-- Template:Db-draft-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> [[User:UnitedStatesian|UnitedStatesian]] ([[User talk:UnitedStatesian|talk]]) 19:29, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
: The changes i made where already there. If you check the articles, im performing a revert. The users above are changing genres to suit themselfs without providing a cite. Im changing them back, to what the majority before decided they were. Both users have been through arbirrition cases and banned many times for refusing to comply to the majority votes, even when overwhelming sources are provided. If the Gothic Metal articles talk page is checked for instance, there is over 30 sources that support the article, which user Danteferno didnt accept because 'he didnt like them'. Many of the changes to genres by Deathrocker have similary been 'because he doesnt like the band'.

== Regina Spektor article ==
Whatever your claims, we are here to make the Regina Spektor as good and useful as we can possibly do, so that it may be (as many Wikipedia articles are) the best article available on the Internet about the subject. The lyrics website is the best and comprehensive that could be located and since her music is, by her own account, driven by its text, it is of signal importance that these texts be available in print form to the reader. If the site is commercial in nature, so be it; the value to the reader in adding to his/her knowledge about this artist and her work outweighs any qualms one may have about the site on which the lyrics appear. It would be most unusual if the artist (or any musical artist, for that matter) would object to the lyrics being linked (not reprinted) in her Wikipedia article. Your comment that one can find lyrics by doing a Google search is disingenuous because all of the links added to her Wikipedia page were painstakingly dug up and added in order to add to the article's usefulness. Of course they could all be deleted and Wikipedia readers could simply find all their own articles about her, but that would largely defeat the purpose of what the External links section is for. We all have our own expertises here, and contribute accordingly. I hope you will do so as well. [[User:Badagnani|Badagnani]] 22:14, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

To add yourself, just edit the section on the [[WP:AbRep|page]], and add your name: Simple :). As to the work it entails, well you can go about it several ways, one is to email, which means just letting the ISP et al know what's going on.. the other is by phone, (depending on where you live), and talk to the administrator or whoever that way. ==Merging Of Fall Out Boy Band Members==
Hello. You've recently tried to have the members of Fall Out Boy merged into the main article. If I can recall correctly, this has been attempted in the past, and was not gone through with. Each of the members, esp. [[Pete Wentz]], have extensive articles, and/or are notable on their own. I also ask why you removed the links from [[Pete Wentz]] that linked to his other ventures outside of Fall Out Boy, it is seeming that you are trying to make him appear NN. I'm not sure why you'd do that, or why you'd edit Wikipedia to influence your opinion, but I reverted the edit nonetheless. I'm sorry if I took this the wrong way, I'm just letting you know the bad decision. You can reply on my talk page if you'd like to discuss this matter further. Although the lyrics are copyrighted, we deal with publishers to pay royalties. Even if a publisher for certain lyrics has not contacted us or responded to our attempts to contact (there are apparently hundreds if not thousands), they can at any time stake claims to their artists and we will track their work (and therefore the royalties). The publishers I've talked to so far don't seem to mind the delay before they find us since only us and two other sites even pay royalties at all (and we actively email publishers asking for lists of the songs they have rights to publish). So yes, 'tis legal<br/>

My friend . :
*Him being convicted by Israel can be added if you wish, but I think it's redundant as it's obvious who convicted him from the article. Authorities is what - police ? It's Israel's court of law (not military).
*As for suffocated to death, well, suffocated doesn't mean to death is it, so if it's not correct - suffocated and she died... something like that.
*burst into means they went in by force... they didn't just enter as the building was closed you know. They broke the door. This was used by kuntar himself, I saw in his site link in the external links. ((((I see you already changed it though now....which is a shame. I think "enter" implies walked in...}}}}
*as for the daughter's death description - I really think that it sounding horrible doesn't mean it's not [[WP:NPOV]] - Kuntar himself talked about the incident this way, he's the one in the interrogation that from his words the whole incident is made clear. I don't think we should omit details that aren't disputed by anyone, from the article. If someone would say that he didn't do it in this way, then it can be disputed, but his supporters don't dispute the event, just the cause or motive maybe, not the details of the killing which he recounted himself.
* it might sound a bit [[WP:POV]], but it's one of these cases when it's impossible to treat it differently I think, since both sides acknowledge the facts for the full extent. == ABBA Fact, not Fiction ==
I am amused/alarmed to see that the war over two adjectives has elicited such melodramatic responses.
For fear of adding to the ridiculousness of the situation I will be brief.
I am a BBC journalist, and am well aware of the concept of objectivity in writing. And like many people, I have listened to ABBA since 1974. I have also followed public and critical opinion of them since then. And watched documentaries in which Benny, Björn, Frida and Agnetha discuss the music etc. There is no doubt that ABBA are widely seen as purveyors of uplifting, buoyant pop. But there is also more than occasional mention of the sad and melancholic strands in and aspects to their music/harmonies/melodies/individual voices. [they are from Sweden after all] A kind of joyous melancholy in the tradition of the Mamas & the Papas, the Beach Boys, the Hollies etc. I'm sure that a music theorist could back up what I, for the last week or so, have unsuccessfully been trying to put across in a single half-sentence. My controversial [to a few of you] Wikipedia words have been merely descriptive. I do not consider them the least bit conroversial or irresponsibly opinionated. They are certainly not 'first-person' in the way that much of the flowery and bloated language of ABBA's Wikipedia entry reads.
In my Edits I have identified several Google links to prove my point, but my efforts have been ignored by those who, I strongly feel, appear to be personalising the ABBA entry in a way that I find a bit scary, actually. From where I'm sitting it appears that this tiny, all-male ABBA revolt smacks of double standards and nerdy hypocrisy. As you should know by now, the website is loaded with examples of personal opinion doubling as received opinion and fact etc. And in most cases they are not wrong. They serve an adjectival, descriptive purpose. And on this occasion, 'melancholic' is not merely a personal opinion.
I do not know my way around Wikipedia beyond the basics, but I think it is almost worth taking the matter higher up. And how does one get the power to use those funny little Warning signs, I wonder.
Tisk. Tisk.
{{unsigned|DavidOPerson}}
[[User:DavidOPerson|DavidOPerson]] 19:07, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Thank for your informative input re: 'uplifting/melancholy' in the music of ABBA.
However, you have confirmed my suspicions regarding the repeated removal of my half-sentence. You mention a 'consensus'. As far as I have noticed, there are merely a core few who have objected to my observation. I assume they are in fact different people, but whether or not they are, their number hardly constitutes what I would call a consensus. I have elicited laughter from several people when informing them of the extremist – and at times childishly worded – assaults on my ABBA contributions. And I know too many people who agree with the 'uplifting/melancholy' tag for me to allow a few hardcore – and perhaps philistine – bulllies to have their way. Happily, I have just noticed in the 'I'm Giving up on This Article' section that an anonymous person has called 'uplifting but melancholic' a "great description of ABBA's music".
The real issue here appears to be one of control, which is obscuring the more vital point involving a broadly accepted view about the true nature of the ABBA sound.
At some point I will take the matter higher. [[User:DavidOPerson|DavidOPerson]] 19:07, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

It is against the rules use bad language toward me or call me an idiot - Especially when I am clearly neither. [[User:StalinsLoveChild|StalinsLoveChild]] 21:07, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
I am fully aware of WP:CIVIL, more so than your arrogant self it would seem. I have said no personal insults to you whereas you have said "shit" twice and "idiot" three times now. You have broken numerous rules which I will list below:
*Rudeness (calling me an idiot, telling me I don't know what I'm doing)
*Judgmental tone in edit summaries (calling me an idiot)
*Taunting (calling me an idiot telling me I don't know what I'm doing)
*Personal attacks (calling me an idiot telling me I don't know what I'm doing)
*Racial, ethnic, sexual, and religious slurs (yes, you have noticed my ancestry so you think you can belittle me in an article related to German history. This has not gone un-noticed)
*Profanity directed at another contributor (calling me an idiot, which i consider very personally insulting)
*Lies (saying I don't know what I'm doing when I do)
*Giving users derogatory names (Calling me an idiot)
Also, for the record, "GeoCities" is spelled with a capital C, and "vandalism" is spellesd "vandalism". So I suggest YOU read WP:CIVIL, "cadet", and come back when you've got something useful to say (though I'd prefer you didn't). [[User:StalinsLoveChild|StalinsLoveChild]] 21:47, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
You are skewing the truth now with sarcasm and tyranny. I never said you were a racist, I merely pointed out that you broke the racist rule. If I'm from a German family then I think I know what I'm talking about in the German Navy, don't you? Thought so. Stop twisting the truth and digging yourself a deeper hole. Do something useful to Wikipedia instead, like cancelling your internet subscription (note that is not an insult it is fact). I can't believe I'm now being accused of racism, a complete flip-flop. Don't bother replying, I know exactly what you're going to say already. [[User:StalinsLoveChild|StalinsLoveChild]] 22:13, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Right first of all let's correct your childish errors (once again) -
"nsult" is spelled "insult", "Ancestry" does not need to be capitalized, and there is absolutely no point in redlinking "warfare officer", or providing any links at all, it's patronizing. You think I don't know what the Royal Navy is? Further proof of your perceived superiority to me. If you were a real German you wouldn't be a part of the British military and that's fact. I have been contributing to Wikipedia since before you were born, buddy, so i don't need a lecture on what, what not, or what not to do. And I certainly don't need to be told what to do. It would be best for you if you took back your numerous accusations and insults, because we both know you clearly don't know how to conduct yourself appropriately.[[User:StalinsLoveChild|StalinsLoveChild]] 22:38, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
You've captalized "ancestry" again, and I'm not even going to bother poiting out your other spelling mistakes ( "aroudn", capitalization of "Wikipedia", "Thankyou" should be two words).
And not that it's any of your business, but I have had numerous past accounts on Wikipedia, which usually get shut down due to the ignorance of people like you not knowing what's best. I accept your humble apologies for your futile attempt to proke a reaction from me - but I myself have nothing to apologize for, I made a simple click error (which was the blame of my mouse, not me, so more fool you - no offence, of course). The only thing I have to apologize for is wasting my valuable time and intellect on this page. [[User:StalinsLoveChild|StalinsLoveChild]] 23:08, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under [[Wikipedia:Fair use|fair use]], but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our [[Wikipedia:Fair use criteria|first fair use criterion]] in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review [[Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee Elections December 2023/Candidates|the candidates]] and submit your choices on the '''[[Special:SecurePoll/vote/{{Arbitration Committee candidate/data|2023|poll}}|voting page]]'''. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{tlx|NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. <small>[[User:MediaWiki message delivery|MediaWiki message delivery]] ([[User talk:MediaWiki message delivery|talk]]) 00:23, 28 November 2023 (UTC)</small>
# Go to [[:Image:Dolly James.jpg|the image description page]] and edit it to add <code><nowiki>{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}</nowiki></code>, '''without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template'''.
# On [[Image talk:Dolly James.jpg|the image discussion page]], write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
</div>
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, [[Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission|requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license]], or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on <span class="plainlinks">[{{fullurl:Special:Contributions|target={{PAGENAMEE}}&namespace=6}} this link]</span>. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on [[Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Images.2FMedia|criteria for speedy deletion]]. If you have any questions please ask them at the [[Wikipedia:Media copyright questions|Media copyright questions page]]. [[File:Ambox warning blue.svg|35px|text-top|left|⚠|link=]] Thanks for uploading '''[[:File:Lebanese navy logo.JPG]]'''. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a [[Wikipedia:Non-free content|claim of fair use]]. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see [[Wikipedia:Non-free content#Policy|our policy for non-free media]]).
Note that any non-free images not used in any '''articles''' will be deleted after seven days, as described in [[wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#F5|section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion]].
