Nel 1980, Julius iniziò a sperimentare l'arte basata sul computer (cioè il disegno digitale) sul suo computer Amiga. È stata l'ultima volta che ha manipolato le immagini elettronicamente: il suo lavoro da allora è basato metodi tradizionali.
Nel dicembre del 1998, Julius ha pubblicato il suo primo fumetto intitolato ''[[Blind Squirrel, Vol. 1|Blind Squirrel]]''.
Il sequel programmato di ''Blind Squirrel'' (''[[Blind Squirrel, Vol. 2|Blind Squirrel 2]]'') non si è mai concretizzato, e quindi la sua storia ''[[Blind Squirrel, Vol. 2#You Snooze, You Lose|You Snooze, You Lose]]'' è stata pubblicata sulla rivista ''Sizzle n. 6'' (editore NBM).
Il successo di questi spinse la carriera di Julius e nel 2000 lavorava a tempo pieno come artista usando Internet per vendere le sue opere.
Julius disegnava incessantemente per compiacere la sua fanbase sempre crescente. Creava in media da cinque a dieci immagini al giorno che pubblicava online per la vendita. Inoltre, inviava una riproduzione digitale di ogni immagine ai moderatori del gruppo online per i fan non abbastanza fortunati (o non pieni di risorse) da acquistare il suo lavoro originale.
Julius viveva negli Stati Uniti centrali. Rispondeva regolarmente ai suoi fan tramite il suo principale gruppo online (ZimmermanDrawings presso i gruppi Yahoo).
A Julius gli venne diagnosticato il cancro, in fase terminale. Morì il 4 novembre 2017, all'età di 63 anni.

Protagoniste principali della copertina sono le due giovani e sensuali donne nude che sembrerebbero essere Dyna e Marci dalla storia "''Scoring''". Entrambe le donne presentano trucco e unghie laccate di rosso, e sono immerse fino alla coscia in un'enorme ciotola (viola con una linea bianca) di latte e cereali, le cui gocce fluiscono e bagnano i loro corpi. Dyna, la bionda, ha i capelli raccolti e schizza all'amica ricciuta. Agitandosi, le ragazze spruzzano latte e i cereali intorno a sé.
