Kanata Hongo also portrayed Shinichi "Shin" Okazaki in the movie [[NANA 2]], which was released in Japan on December 9, 2006. His next feature film is along side [[Michael Pitt]] and [[Keira Knightley]] in [[Silk (film)|Silk]] which will be screened at the 2007 [[Cannes Film Festival]]. This marks Kanata's first appearance in an English language film, although it is still not known what type of Role Kanata has in the film. He also recently starred in another music video, Bz's ''Eien no Tsubasa''.
