Naigaon is closely connected to Vasai. It mainly consists of marathi speaking Hindus and Christians. The language spoken by the christian community is different dialect of Marathi language. Most of the people belonging to Vartak family live here. It has many places where salt is produced. It is divided into east and west. In the east there is a famous temple of Chandika Devi (goddess named Chandika). In the west it consists of Papdi, Paali, Naigaon Koliwada, Umela village and Amol nagar. Transport is a via train on the western railway and by road via Vasai (Manikpur) through Ahmedabad Highway.

Naigaon is famous for Toddy (Palm Wine) tapped from the tree called Borassus flabellifer which is a type of Palm. There are shops which serve today which is pure & unadulterated. Occupation of people in village is mainly farming and most people working in offices travel to South Mumbai for work. Buying a farmhouse or Bungalow here is very beneficial if one wishes to enjoy the weekends. It is surrounded by greenery and one feels close to nature. Life in Naigaon is simple, calm & quiet.
