It's mentioned more than once in the series that Humans and Nephilim co-evolved on the surface (in contrast to the [[Slithzerikai]] who are natively from Exile), and that Nephilim had been relatively common before the Empire's genocide. They are extremely agile and dexterous, having a racial talent for missile weapons. Mainly favoring the bow, nephilim warriors may also choose to carry javelins.
