'''Miranda''' is a [[CityRail]] railway station on Sydney's [[Illawarra line]]. It serves a residential area. It has an island platform.

The station is served by two trains per hour for most of the time, with additional trains at weekday peak hours.

==History==

The station has stairs leading to a subway connected to the streets on either side, and thus does not have [[Easy Access]] for wheelchairs.

The station opened with the line in [[1939]], when the residential area was first being developed. The line through Miranda was single track at that time. The line was duplicated in about [[1980]].

By January 2005, an upgrade to the station including a lift was complete.
