I think this article really could use some editorial work. It reads itself more like a science research conclusion, than a introduction article. It could also be more neutral, but collecting information about this topic is maybe not bad at the current state. It did some work on the overall text quality and also will look for this in the future.

It isn't well described how exactly the swarming works; ie is there a "leader robot" giving instructions or do all robots have situational awareness ?

== We need an additional article or section for swarm drones ==

There have been quite a number of swarm robotics applications of drones → there really needs to be an article on it (e.g. [[drone swarm]] or [[swarming drones]] or [[swarm drones]]). Or alternatively a section could be added to this page.

Could somebody go ahead with that please?

Some parts of the article refer to swarms of drones almost as a measure word, for example, in the "Drone swarms" section.
