:I added one more link being spammed by this sockfarm. There are new socks nearly every day spamming these links. Over 60 accounts have been blocked already in just the last couple of weeks, and they just keep coming. Any help in dealing with this problem by blacklisting the links would be greatly appreciated. Proposing the blacklisting of <code>\bkiwifarms\..*?\b</code> (regex suggested on en.wiki) — we already have <code>\bkiwifar\.ms\b</code> in the gBL, and linking to new iterations of this malicious hate site is dangerous and somewhat facilitates abuse. === Russia-linked Pravda network and similar unreliable websites ===
Spam. --Martin Urbanec (talk) 18:19, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
See (and the links given in the article).
There are a few hundred websites, listed at and which lead to russian propaganda or other unreliable mirrors of news websites.
At dewiki i guess, i will replace the links where it is possible and delete them otherwise. Afterwards i'll blacklist all mentioned URLs, even those which have (probably) not yet been used.
But i'm not sure whether this (or parts of it) should be done globally.
If there are any questions, maybe user:Mitte27 might be able to help.

The LinkWatchers report domains meeting the following criteria:
* When a user mainly adds this link, and the link has not been used too much, and this user adds the link to more than 2 wikis
* When a user mainly adds links on one server, and links on the server have not been used too much, and this user adds the links to more than 2 wikis
* If ALL links are added by IPs, and the link is added to more than 1 wiki
* If a small range of IPs have a preference for this link (but it may also have been added by other users), and the link is added to more than 1 wiki.

change.org, petitions site
change.org
This Web site is blocked globally as <code>\.change\.to</code>, link shortener. <code>www.change.org</code>, specifically, is a site for starting and signing petitions, which I don't think should be blacklisted. A petition reported in the news shouldn't be blacklisted. Useful specifically in the Prince of Wales Wikipedia article, end of top section, supporting "a petition was launched calling for the abolition of the title".

Added later: I see in a 2020 discussion "Promoting irrelevant petitions is literally why it's on the blacklist". So maybe I should request that the particular End "Prince of Wales" title out of respect for Wales petition page, relevant and newsworthy I think, should be whitelisted.

::::Pol098 I know that change.org is a website. Please reread what I said. change.org is not globally blocked as you just added it, only the url shortener change.to, so use a full url. &nbsp;— billinghurst <span style="font-size:smaller">sDrewth</span> 10:13, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
::::: Change.org is blacklisted on en.wikipedia in addition to the global block of the shortener. I explained below why. Delisting the shortener or the .org remains declined, we blacklist sites because they cause too many problems, and petition sites do often that: cause problems. ::::::I know that it is BL pn enWP, it is not globally which is the basis of my answer.
