'''David''' is a fictional character from the sci-fi book series [[Animorphs]]. He appears in Episodes 20, [[The Discovery]], 21, [[The Threat]], and 22, [[The Solution]], and once more in Episode 48.

David is a new kid in the Animorph's school and some how finds the [[Escafil Device]]. Marco befriends him finds out he has the morphing cube in his possession, and so does Visser Three. David (thinking he could get some quick cash out of his find) ignorantly puts it on sale. David immediately has someone who wants to buy it, which is Visser Three. After the Animorphs try to stop Visser Three from getting the box, and trying to get it away from David, a huge battle erupts in David's home. Eventually the Animorphs take David in custody, while the Yeerks have his parents. David is then face with the decision to go back home or become an Animorph, even after knowing that his parents have become Controllers. He choose to become an Animorph. Later, thinking that he can have a normal life, he goes insane, betraying the other Animorphs and even attempts to kill them, and he almost succeeds; as long as they're animals, he doesn't consider it murder. They end up defeating him by having Rachel lead him to the a faux Blue Box, she tricks him, and with the help of the others they cage him in rat morph and leave him on an island. Later, David came back from the island with the help of Crayak. He tried to trap Rachel like she trapped him: Becoming a rat nothlit. His plan failed, and he is presumed to be dead. Rachel takes pity on him at the end of #48, and David pleads her to kill him. His current fate is unknown.
