As of the [[census]]<ref name="GR2" /> of 2000, there were 825 people, 280 households, and 234 families residing in the town. The [[population density]] was 23.9 people per square mile (9.2/km{{sup|2}}). There were 284 housing units at an average density of 8.2 per square mile (3.2/km{{sup|2}}). The racial makeup of the town was 98.30% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.85% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.12% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.61% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.12% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.85% of the population.
There were 280 households, out of which 37.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.6% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 5.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.1% were non-families. 11.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The median income for a household in the town was $43,026, and the median income for a family was $43,355. Males had a median income of $31,731 versus $22,721 for females.
