==Sonic the Hedgehog==
This article has stayed, the other was merged into this one. --[[User:Admiral Roo|Admiral Roo]] 05:04, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
Has anyone requested Sega to make this game for the Wii? I, and a good many others, would like to see it on the Wii. [[User:Johnny's pizza|Wii-Owner-who-doesn't-own-a-PS3-or-a-360]] 22:58, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

we need to change the name of the List of xbo360 for sonic the hedgehog (ps3 and xbox360) also for list of ps3 games[[User:Xino|><ino]] 05:11, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

==Blaze a queen?==
Yes. Does anybody notice that this article seems to look like it's fan-filled? I saw this in part of a sentence: "old '''skool''' sonic." I fixed it. --[[User:Alexie|Alexie]]
Blaze is a princess, not queen.

Yes, I know it's confusing. Sort of like how they made it seem like Shadow was created after Maria died, when he was with Maria and witnessed her death.[[User:Gigasonic|Gigasonic]] 22:29, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
? fan filled? so... if people that are fan of something.
when they edit an article they seem to know more,
in another words..Fan of something will know more than an ordinary person
for example a fan of Sony playstaion will know more than someone doing an article on it, the fan may know every single game ...ect

The Blaze article states that:
Old skool? yes that is the main word people uses now are days, saying old school is like going to school. you can use old skool for games, old skool for games is like in the 90's olding days, sayin old school for games is like when you were at school
so... please change it back to "Old Skool":D
[[User:Xino|><ino]] 02:24, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

*Blaze is often referred to as a queen; however she is called a princess in Sonic Rush. She's referred to as "Queen Blaze the Cat" on the official Sega of America Sonic mini site, Sonic Central, as well as the next Sonic the Hedgehog game website; indicating that she may have been retconned into a queen, or referring to her as a "princess" may have just been a translation error, or possibly vice versa.
Does saying the 'traditional' rather than 'old skool' Sonic games solve the issue?

"The basic features of previous Sonic games return; Rail Grinding, Springs, " ? how did spring return in Sonic The Hedgehog? in other Sonic games, it doesn't even have it
:Please change it, at the side put, "a new concept has been added which is a spring"

Perhaps we should make this look like a true game article now? Or do we not have enough information to do so?[[User:Grandmastergalvatron|GrandMasterGalvatron]] 16:16, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
What? What are you talking about? Springs have been in the Sonic Series since the first game. You know, big round things, you touch one and it ''springs'' you upwards? They even make a "boing!" sound. Maybe some people call them bumpers, but springs have been an intergral part to the Sonic Franchise ever since it began. It doesn't need to be changed, as it's not a new feature. It is a returning feature. [[User:BlazeHedgehog|BlazeHedgehog]] 16:10, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

It's possible, it's just that people don't classify Sonic Cult as a reliable/accurate source right now so people are clinging towards waiting until the game's release, I think. But me, I think we do. [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 22:52, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

== Rings ==
But why? That's not really a mechanic worth mentioning; that's probably just a level prop. You might as well edit it to read, "Rocks and grass have been added." The ropes act like springs right now, and the only difference right now is purely visual. If, in the future, ropes are shown in more levels with better mechanics for them, sure. But right now I don't see much of a point.
[[User:BlazeHedgehog|BlazeHedgehog]] 17:13, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

"In addition, the more rings Sonic carries, the faster his top speed is - similar to the Sonic Advance titles."
ok...but still...the ropes an't springs, just the object to get to the next plaform

This is one of the more intresting pieces of info about this game. Can it be confirmed?
Hey, Xino? You really need to work on your writing skills, man. Maybe English isn't your first language, or maybe you're a younger fella (as your general attitude would suggest), but you really need to have someone else go through your writing and clean it up. Your punctuation alone makes me wanna cry. Perhaps let someone else take a crack at organizing and editing the details? Just a suggestion

Again, don't act like a smart, there is a profile which I have created for you to look at!
And comeup with something a lil better, I have heard all that crapness before!

However, I tried testing this on the demo and there was no difference. Is it only for mach speed zones, or has it just not been incorporated in the demo because it has an old build from e3? [[User:Jack Bz|Jack Bz]]

Probably. I sure hope that the game does have the feature though. But if you watch the environment trailer, you'll notice that when Sonic is in the Mach Speed zone, he speeds up when he gets rings.[[User:Gigasonic|Gigasonic]] 22:22, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Xino... take a step back and realize what you're doing. You're sounding crazy. Honestly? I know who Houk is. We're not friends (well, not in the direct sense), but I visit the same forum he does. And before you break out and start accusing me of the same things you accuse him of - let me cut you off early and tell you I'm not. You need to relax, man. I've been saying this almost every time I respond to something you say, anymore. Not everybody is out to get you and not everybody is here to ruin your work. The rings do NOT do ANYTHING to the characters. They have NO EFFECT. I have the game and it doesn't matter how many rings you have, they are only for a point bonus.

OK, first of all, they have Shadow's story. Mephiles doesn't appear in the crystaline form though. They also have the Rouge page. White Acropolis is the snow stage by the way. They also have a new video. I can't get it to work though.[[User:Gigasonic|Gigasonic]] 13:50, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

:Translations coming soon, which will be put into the article. Oddly enough, the demo must have had a title card error.[[User:Grandmastergalvatron|GrandMasterGalvatron]] 14:38, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
::Gigasonic, I ask you, please, PLEASE try to write on the talk page with a constructive purpose. Sure, you said the site was updated, but you did it in a way that caused it to look like a simple post as if this were a forum, which caused me to remove it. Try this: whenever new information comes out, talk about how it can be placed in the article...I removed a lot of stuff last night from you that was basically discussion about the game, not discussion about the article. Please be more careful in the future.-[[User:Sukecchi|Sukecchi]] 15:06, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Some stuff on the page links directly to the info newly posted on the site, yet, they're not sourced. Will go through them all and start sourcing them. Notably, there are a few in the story section. [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 21:51, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

== Mephiles the Dark? ==
== Sonic for Genesis included rumor floating around ==

I might have missed something. Since when was he referred to as Mephiles the Dark? It might be because I didn't read the entire script. But if I don't get a good reason, I'll remove it from the article.[[User:Gigasonic|Gigasonic]] 13:31, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
I've heard that Sonic Team is adding Sonic 1 (1991) with Sonic the Hedgehog. Need confirmation of that please... Anyone? [[User:Renegadeviking|Renegade Viking]]

Yep, it was in the script and further character bios on Mephiles on Cult, I'm pretty sure. [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 21:46, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Extremely little information is availiable about this game currently. Most of the basic gameplay mechanics, levels, plot... none of that is known. For Sonicteam to include Sonic 1 in this game at this stage in the game? Likely not true. They might yet put it in there (as that's a trend), but so little is known about the game at this stage, I find it hard to believe Sonicteam would already commit to something like that. [[User:BlazeHedgehog|BlazeHedgehog]] 03:50, 4 November 2005 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I didn't read the entire script, so I wouldn't know.[[User:Gigasonic|Gigasonic]] 01:16, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Oí, I just thought of something... in the Last Story, when Mephiles kills Sonic, he ''really'' should be thanking his lucky stars that [[Amy Rose|Amy's]] not there to witness the deed. :p --[[User:Luigifan|Luigifan]] 12:13, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
same here the only information containing about the game are listed in this article. sonic hedgehog 1 on next gen sonic is a rumour, but it will be cool to see it because it will be Sega trying to show us the different attitude of speed
[[User:Xino|>x<ino]] 17:53, 4 November 2005 (UTC)

He introduces himself as "Mephiles the Dark". It's one of his first lines in the game and when it comes out, you'll have all the confirmation you'll need. Also, Amy ''is'' there when he kills Sonic, but no one thinks he's dead at first save for Shadow, Rouge, and Eggman.[[User:Grandmastergalvatron|GrandMasterGalvatron]] 14:10, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Is there really any point? Sonic 1 is already found in the Mega Collection games, and the next gen systems are all backwards compatible, so they don't need to waste their time trying to emulate it again. -- [[User:VederJuda|VederJuda]] 21:01, 4 November 2005 (UTC)

Well the script on Cult doesn't give specifics so I guess it was hard to know for sure. Interesting to note, though, that people witnessed his "death". As I'm not getting the game, I wonder how interesting it'll be to see the facial expressions of Rouge, Shadow, Eggy, and Knuckles would be like when they witness it. [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 21:03, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah there is a point. You need to own Sonic Mega Collection or SMC Plus. Sonic the Hedgehog is only 1 MB as a ROM image, and is practically nothing on a DVD. [[User:Renegadeviking|>x<Renegadeviking]] 2:42, 10 December 2005

==Stage Adaptations==
That would only be true for the Revolution and PS3 versions. Xbox 360 can't play Sonic Mega Collection Plus! [[User:renegadeviking|Renegadeviking]] 6:48, 11 November 2005

In addition to the Japanese Site being updated, this link was given: http://www.famitsu.com/sp/sonic/. Once loaded, you'll see that the Wave Ocean stage was, indeed, based on Emerald Coast from SA, as well as White Acropolis, which was based on Icecap from the same game. If I'm not mistaken, the same page also shows some stages were based on a stage from Sonic CD and Sonic Advance 2 (?), respectively. Cool news, huh? It's official, too! :D [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 00:48, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
:The Xbox360 with the hard drive can play it; Microsoft released a list of games that the 360 is backwards compatible with, and I'm guessing that they're not talking about the GameCube's "Sonic Mega Collection". Here's the list [http://gaming-age.com/news/2005/11/11-56] -- [[User:VederJuda|VederJuda]]

It looks really cool, but babelfish won't translate it for me. It worked last time but this time it won't. It looks cool though.[[User:Gigasonic|Gigasonic]] 01:20, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

==Nintendo Revolution version==
I removed the comment that the Revolution version was likely not revealed because of a nondisclosure agreement (NDA), because it seems that Nintendo has removed the NDA; or at least they relaxed it so that 3rd parties could talk about what games they are developing. I recall a news posting that Sega wasn't announcing any games for the Revolution until they got some more info on the system, such as a final version of the dev kit (an IGN article says 3rd parties are still developing on a modified GameCube dev kit); but since I can't find a link to that particular tidbit, I'm not going to add it to the article. -- [[User:VederJuda|VederJuda]] 18:01, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

1.Voice Actors
I see that the Sonic Revolution rumour has replaced the rumour that Sonic 2006 may or may not be coming to the Revolution; however, the new rumour doesn't say anything about a possible port of this game to the Revolution and that the port won't happen because of a Revolution specific version. Although there is the possibility that the Revolution could get two Sonic games (three if Sonic Riders 2 is considered), I'm not going to bother putting the old one back, one rumour is enough until some more info appears, and only the new one has some kind of "official" source. -- [[User:VederJuda|VederJuda]] 18:10, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

== Super Transformation ==

Ok...I saw this bit:
Yes the Gameplay will be different because of the Revolution Pad, it will be like the DS Version, you know the one you use the pen to make SOnic run.
:[[User:Xino|>x<ino]] 18:35, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

"* '''Final Boss''': It is a possibility that [[Super Sonic]] may fight Iblis, the final boss in its final form, known as Solaris, right after the "End of the World" stage. It is unknown if [[Super Shadow]] and the superform of Silver will fight Iblis alongside [[Super Sonic]], if the assumptions of Iblis being the final boss, are true. "
:If that was a response to what I said, then you didn't read what I wrote. I was saying that the old rumour (that Sonic 2006 might be coming for the Rev) was removed, and this one (Sonic Revolution) put in its place. What I said was that the new rumor doesn't disprove the old rumour, and that the Revolution might get both Sonic games, Sonic 2006 and Sonic Revolution. Now, if you were implying that the Revolution couldn't do Sonic 2006 because of the Rev controller, the Revolution will have a controller extension that will act like a standard controller; afteral, it'll need it to emulate older SNES and N64 games. I have no doubt that the Revolution specific Sonic game would play differently than the others. -- [[User:VederJuda|VederJuda]] 19:05, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Let me help clarify some things. According to the strategy guide, Solaris' first form is fought after "End of the World" three times. In the past as Super Shadow, in the present as Super Sonic, and in the Future as Super Silver.(who is apparently now golden instead of Silver). This will be the final boss until you get all S ranks and unlock the true ending. Solaris changes into his second form and is fought by Super Sonic alone.
Couldn't be botherd...ok lets see what you replied:P

Also, Super Transformation ''is'' available for level play. By S ranking ''everything'', you unlock a "Super Emerald" in the shops. This is the aforementioned 8th Chaos Emerald which is rainbow colored. Equipping this item turns you into your Super Form. Only Sonic, Shadow, and Silver can use this item as Tails, Knuckles, and Blaze cannot buy items from the shops.
The Sonic Next Gen, might not and might come to the Revolution, because Sega doesn't know any tech spec for the Revolution and it isn't because of the pad...and yes i do know there is an extension port. Sonic Revolution is just the achivement to the remote controll. So they can make the control have a special feel to gaming, they want to test it on a speed game which is SOnic....and remember Sega are working for Nintendo, they are producing Sonic Titles to Nintendo System.
:That remote idea was also from Zelda, so fans can be like Link,...AKA waving the sword

Oh, and the amigo characters ''are'' unlocked by clearing town missions and S ranking them as well. [[User:Grandmastergalvatron|GrandMasterGalvatron]] 14:22, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
On a slightly related note, someone added a rumour that Sonic would be in the next Smash Bros game; I deleted it because I felt it didn't belong here since the rumour had less to do with this game and more to do with Smash Bros and Sonic in general. I think the other rumour (about the Revolution Sonic game) is still valid here because that rumour addresses the question that gamers have as to why ''this'' game hasn't been announced for the Rev, even though it is still a rumour and doesn't say whether or not the game will hit the Rev, let alone why. -- [[User:VederJuda|VederJuda]] 12:06, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

We're getting too many rumors that have nothing to do with this game, but for other rumoured Sonic games. First there was the rumour that this game might appear on the Revolution, but that was replaced with the IGN rumour that the Rev was getting it's own Sonic game. Now someone has added the rumour about a Sonic Online RPG, which is 6 months old, and has nothing to do with this game. At this point, I think both should go; the second should definitely go, and the first could possibly be changed back to the old rumour, or at least tweaked in someway to show how it relates to this game. -- [[User:VederJuda|VederJuda]] 14:12, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry but I am not finding it! Until someone ACTUALLY has some sort of visual comfirmation (either a screenshot from the game or a scan from the Stategy Guide) then there is no proof. Someone claiming to have the strategy guide and posting on message boards isn't proof...it is hearsay. I'm afraid I'm going to call bullcrap on all this. I've beaten all of Shadow's town missions (various ranks) and I've not unlocked Rouge (unless I'm not looking hard enough but all multiplayer character select screens just show Sonic, Shadow and Silver). It'd be nice though. (http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/Achievements/ViewAchievementDetails.aspx?tid=%09%5d%3bcn-n7%05%01&compareTo=Groovy+Doogles is my achivements, Elite Agent is the one you get for beating all the Town missions - and it's even got Rouge on it!) - [[User:Super Doogles|Super Doogles]] 16:38, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Sega's website now seems to call the game "15th Anniversary Sonic the Hedgehog" and even has a new logo for it. Is the new name?
(EDIT: Dark Hero, achieved for beating all of Shadow's town missions with an S-Rank, doesn't unlock Omega. Ho hum.)

Blarg...I'll find out what the hell's going on and get back to you. Last I recall, free mode was unlocked by beating all act and town missions with an S rank. OK, I had a long ranting post here about not being rude to other posters but I took it down. I may be new here but at least I can respect other people and thier opinions (just because you don't like what I have to say, you don't trust me? WOW). Look, in the Prima Official Strategy Guide (who knows, there may be one from Bradly Games or whatever) there is NOTHING about unlockables. It really surprised me because of how THICK it was too! I have looked through it tons of times. ALL I am saying is in MY guide, there isn't any unlockables. It doesn't even mention Nights of Kronos. NOTHING! Now, if I have missed something (which is ALWAYS a possibility, I am human) please, show me wrong. I have NO PROBLEM being wrong. I want this to be true! MY point is, however, that just because someone puts it on a message board does not make it true. There is EVERYCHANCE the guy was LYING! I just spoke to the guys over at EBgames and they said it ships tomarrow. Now, this means it may not BE there until the 15 BUT it is still worth a check in the afternoon. Remember that Gears of War wasn't due out until yesterday but I saw MANY copies earlier. Also, every copy of Guild Wars I preorder always comes the day BEFORE it ships. So the SHIPdate is tomarrow but the offical release may not be until the 17th.[[User:Rogzilla|Rogzilla]] 21:43, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Yes, you are all thinking SOnic can do a break dancing move, similar to Sonic Battle. No that is wrong!

According to Gamestop the release of the game was moved to Friday November 17 since the Playstation 3 is coming out that day.[[User:Narutochaos|Narutochaos]] 13:26, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

In the demo version, when Sonic attacks the robot. In slow motion: He jumps up, turn into a ball, and pounce to the robot. Once hit, Sonic knocks back, turn out of the ball and back to himself. Without the slow motion, it would seem like Sonic is doing a backflip on the robots.

Really? Even though the PS3 version isn't a launch title? The break dancing. Have we ever seen Sonic do any other move when attack in his game...NO! Accept for Sonic Battle. But SOnic battle is actually like Sonic Fighters. Where characters battle. That's the whole point. Other than that, Sonic can't use backflip, tornado kick, or breakdancing kick to attack his enemies...

''The brilliance of Wikipedia is we can add and change stuff as we learn of it''
Yes, that is the brilliance of Wiki, any suker can edit! Even if you can change and add stuff, but still. Wiki is all about facts! Some idiot might just come to this article, read about the move thing, and going around spreading rumours about it. Later someone with a proof will delete the move thing. That is the main thing, Wiki as to be a fact!
Will you collapse if you don't wait for E3? Will you die? Did the doctor told you, you got 7 days to live? Is that why you can't wait for E3?
Look at the rumour section, most of them need a {{fact}}. That is why I am saying the article needs to be a fact.
Because some info came out of some cheap magaizne, you think it's true. What happen to the top websites? IGN, Gamespot and 1up?

Here: http://www.sonic-cult.org/!trash/sonic_next/. Also:
If we are still in January and E3 is at May, then you can add the move thing. But for f*king God sake, E3 is at f*king 7/6 days left! Wait till 6/7 days, then all information will be flowing in. After E3 or during E3. Every wiki editor will be busy, cuz of the info they will be getting in!

''It's not going to kill you to add this and leave it there until we know for certain'' That is what I am saying, someone can just come in, see that info and get it mixed up. Some might just put a fact tag or clean up tag.
That is also the main problem, if you keep a false info there, people might think it is correct. Like wat we are arguing about the move thing now. Visitors might just think Wiki is full of fake info, and anyone can edit.
I already know some people who are already taking Wiki as a fake false website! This is why I need wiki to be fact all the time. People like you are the one giving this site bad critics and names:/

Beside, that picture showing Sonic doing the break dancing.[http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/8920/sonicpsmpg31av.jpg] To me, it doesn't look like a break dancing move, he does look like he is sliding under that robots tenicle or also Sonic is giving some robot (as the camera) a boot kick!
Again the thing says:
'''''BREAKDANCE FIGTHING''' Sonic's got some new moves to spice up combat''. That is what it says!
The word BREAKDANCE FIGHTING. Do you think that is the name of the move? It is not. It is just called that to make it feel like that. You don't even know about adversiting and newspapers. Not as if you even read one:/

== Cancelled PC Version ==
Let me explain that section to you:
Since when was this? I dont remember an announcement that they cancelled the PC version.
BREAKDANCE FIGHTING, is just to attract gamers like you, into thinking there might be a breakdancing fighting in the game. But that was to attract, call out and get your attention!
Now the main details is Sonic having some new cool moves, not just the bouce attack.
You can see the move, in this mag [http://www.ethereal-ghost.net/Vyers/Pictures/sthoxmscan.jpg]. And if you think the wall walking is a move, it isn't! And the top page pic looks like the "so called breakdancing move"...but that looks like a kicking move to me.
the top big picture. Does that look like Sonic doing a breakdancing? NO! Sonic is doing a slide attack!
And when it says Sonic got some new moves to spice up combat...which means he also has other cool moves!

==PC Version (Rumored)==
Sonic Heroes: no problem in this article, cuz fAnb0ys dislike this game, that is why it an't being constanly vandaled!
Since the appearance of the above shown poster, at least thousands of Sonic gamers on the forums of Sonic Stadium, Sonic Cult, Soniconthe.net, and Sonic World have been excited by the possibility of a PC version. A PC version with fixes on the console issues plus some of the wished-for features, such as online gameplay, downloadable levels and characters, and a polygon and texture control, would make Sonic comparable to Lora Croft on PC, as shown on many vidoe game forums such as Nintendocentre.com[http://www.nintendocentre.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=716&start=15&sid=75ab27b35fa4aacaafd569f4133086b7].

Many statements, such as a tester being sent to Sega France to test the PC version[http://av.rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A9ibyKTO.YtFEQcAjTSDBqMX;_ylu=X3oDMTBwMjNqdWVsBHBndANhdHdfd2ViX3Jlc3VsdARzZWMDc3I-/SIG=123ai7qu9/EXP=1166887758/**http%3a//www.soniconthe.net/viewtopic.php%3ft=630], have been made, but no proof has been shown. Online stores such as Amazon UK and Take2(South Africa) have a "Sonic the Hedgehog (PC)" for preorder also. Sega not denying the development of a PC version has brought many to believe it will be released, as shown on the afore mentioned forums. However, many illegal copies of PC Sonic games have been on the internet, especially on Soniconthe.net, and may influence otherwise.

"At the time of the Soleanna experiment ten years ago, he was warped into the past with Shadow, and was sealed away with him in the capsule that Maria used to launch him to Earth with. This is why Shadow harbors such deep resentment."
Since IGN came up with '''fact''' details and clearifity! unlike the cheap magazine.
People have added some info, and I am clearing them

All unconfirmed... or should I say unofficially confirmed by Cult and as much as I hate to admit it, Cult is not considered that reliable of a source around here, plus, it is the only source to say so thus far. But, I'm sure this is debateful. Thoughts? [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 22:45, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I have added why I am clearing the information. And please do not revert unless you disagree with me, just state why and then revert!:

It makes sense to me. This could be the explanation to why he looks like Shadow. Still, unofficially confirmed. You could put it in, but I can't insure it will stay unless the game confirms it.[[User:Gigasonic|Gigasonic]] 23:42, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
*There are at least two levels in the game - one is a grassy ruin, while the other is a decaying city reminiscent of Westopolis from Shadow the Hedgehog, the damage likely caused by Doctor Eggman's invading robot army. [1] '''First of all, you kept on redirecting the user to a refernce, when there are about 3 links, one of the link doesn't work! Second, create a Stage Section! It won't kill! We don't need to know about the grassy ruins and Westopolis like stage. What is the point of adding it when you dont even know both damn names! Again, those stages might not be in the final game, because that video shown was a demo.'''

Exactly. I think it should stay out until we get solid proof of this - I myself of skeptical about this, actually. [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 00:49, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
*The detail level and draw distance have been upped considerably. In the demo, Sonic was seen running around fields, forests and canyons that seemed to go on for miles in every direction. High-res textures everywhere and surround Sonic. Each blade of grass is drawn as a single object.'''This is a weak edit, but I won't bother doing anything to it. Because DUH! IT is a Next gen Game!'''

Shadow travelled 10 years into the past with Silver and sealed Mephiles (created in the Solaris project alongside Iblis) into the Scepter of Darkness. Mephiles says "Your name, your form, I will remember" which is why he takes on Shadow's form later. Maria is not mentioned in Sonic 2006 at all (thank God!) - [[User:Super Doogles|Super Doogles]] 16:40, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
*A Day/Night cycle has been implemented. As the player progress through the game, time slowly changes from dawn, noon, dusk, night time, and back to dawn again in real-time. Everything in the game casts shadows based on the position of the sun or moon.

==Sonic Go Wiiiii?==
*The basic features of previous Sonic games return; Rail Grinding, Springs, Dash Plates and the Homing Attack were all shown in the Demo. It is unknown how much this move set will be changed for the future.'''Do you mean ''moves'' or ''move''. I almost forgot, when I started adding the details about the know features, which I called Concepts before, I was saying there is a new gameplay thing added, some spring thing. But then again, you all act as if you knew it all. Scroll up and see for yourself!'''

Someone keeps adding this to the "Features" section:
*New moves have been added, including a sliding kick, and Shinobi-style wall running. [2]'''No the sliding Kick isn't really new, because that as been used in Sonic Heroes, but it is new, because in Sonic Heroes. Knuckles and Tails held on to SOnic's back, while SOnic did the slide kick (breakdancing), but in this game Sonic does it alone which makes it new:/. Shinobi Style isn't the official name. IGN just used that word, because that is like a symbol of how ninja runs. Once again, That shinobi style isn't new, because it as been used in Sonic Adventure!'''

"*Although both [[Sonic and the Secret Rings]] and [[Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis]] will both be available exclusively for Nintendo systems, some Nintendo fans feel that the decision not to release this game on [[Wii]] is unfair, and at least one online petition has been started for a Wii release."
*Yuji Naka has stated that this game will capture the most realistic sensation of speed ever, a feature only possible on Next-Generation Systems. This could be seen as a parallel to how NiGHTS Into Dreams was designed: capturing sensation of flight.'''If this is added, why can't it be fused with the second bullet point!?'''

Should this be included in the article? I'm a little skeptical. If so, I don't tihnk putting it in the Features section would be fitting. Where else could it go? [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 00:49, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
*The Havok Physics Engine has been implemented, giving robots and debris realistic physics as objects crumble, fall and bounce around the playing field.'''Needs to be moved up along with the second bulletpoint!'''

Perhaps a "Controversy" section should be created. After all, I have a feeling that with the stuff about Iblis and whatnot, plus the whole Wii thing, there would be plenty of content that could be added to the section. [[User:Cyberlink420|Cyberlink420]] 01:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
*In previous Sonic Titles, character models were constructed with about 1,500 polygons. While still in debate over the validity of the claim, a recent issue of Gamepro said that player models in this game will be composed of over 1 million polygons each. [3]

Lol. I made that. :P Anyway, I was contemplating that. Thanks, I'll put it in. (Also, I changed the format of the article somewhat and did a lot of clean up.) [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 01:10, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
*By default, the camera is closer to Sonic, and lower to the ground than the previous Sonic games, to help emphasize the sensation of speed.

== His World: Full Version ==
*Gameplay is broken up into two gameplay styles, similiar to the original Sonic Adventure: Action Stage and Adventure Field. Action Stages are primarily where the bulk of the gameplay takes place, whereas Adventure Fields are free-roaming locations where the player can talk to NPCs and explore.
'''This is not fully comfirmed yet! The name Action Stage & Adventure an't the name! And NPC's? Please use full text!'''

*Sonic is now much taller than he was before; nearly the size of a real human being. '''That isn't nesscceary, you can atleast put the info in his own autobiography article! Atleast if you are stating that, put the damn actual size!'''
:With lyrics like that, I don't think it would be missed. Anyway, sarcasm aside, I do suppose an official theme song of the game does deserve to stay on this article.

Actually, the original japanese storylines for the Sonic games referenced Gods and Heaven somewhat often; the Gods were the ones who created the chaos emeralds, the Gods became angry when wars broke out over the chaos emeralds, the Gods created the Master Emerald, and with it a protector: Chaos, the God of Destruction. The thought that Iblis might be a reference to an Islamic Jinn isn't really that far-fetched. [[User:BlazeHedgehog|BlazeHedgehog]] 08:04, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

== Nazo - Other info==
Sega have seemingly based the design of the white Hedgehog of Nazo, a prototype character in the TV Series Sonic X, who appeared in several unaired episodes. Nazo and this White Hedgehog have several resemblances:
'''IGN & Gamespot called the Hedgehog "white hedgehog". From that promo poster, the Hegehog looks baby blue to me.
Maybe the promo poster, 3 the 3 characters are good. From Gamespot's talk about the game:'''
''and a mysterious white hedgehog with a big, wispy white 'do.'''''The Hedgehog with the 3 thing on his head, seem like who they are refering to...'''

==The Truth==
*Both characters are white, and have think black lines aroung their eyes.'''The Hedgehog you are refering to "Nazo", does have a black line on around his outline eyes, the same goes for the hedgehog on that promo poster'''
*Both characters didn't wear gloves, like many Sonic characters.'''Look at the Hedgehog you are refering to: [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Nazo_x.jpg]. And look at this hedgehog you thing might be Nazo: [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:E306_01.jpg] This promo picture, the hedgehog is wearing a glove, a glove with a darker colour than him. '''
*Both characters appear as a mysterious nemesis.'''Not really...Nazo means Mysterious, but this baby blue Hedgehog might not be mysterious
*Both characters hold supernatural powers, however the similaroties of these powers has yet to be seen. '''Yea the mysterious white hedgehog does hold super natural powers.'''
*Nazo himself had superior strength and Speed, even to Super Sonic, as well as the ability to remain in Super form forever, used Chaos Powers, fire enery balls and lasers, aswell as fly similar to the characters of Dragonball Z and GT. This white hedgehog however is unknown in what he is capable of. '''I though Hyper form is stronger than Super form!? I don't remember Sonic characters having the ability to fire, fireballs. AND yes... even though the character is at Super or Hyper form, they can fight like DBZ characters either way. Because in Sonic Adventure 1, they didn't allow Sonic to free fly.

Well, now that the game has been released, I'm sure people are discovering many new things about the game and it's storyline. For isntance, on the character page for Omega, it was stated that he is seen in standby mode in Crisis City, and this is what is stated in the Sonic Cult script. Other references point to the fact that, thus far, the Cult script seems to be accurate. So what do you think, should we start adding info from this script into the article. There's a lot of stuff that can be added but I refrained because of issues with the Script. Is this still a debateable topic? I'd appreciate any comments. Note that this may apply to secular pages revolving aorund Sonic 06 (e.g., Mephiles and Shadow pages, for instance). [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 18:33, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Now, I know that isn't fan made, because it looks exaclty how Gamespot & IGN comfirmed Sonic's look and his image. Saying he is taller, skinner ect. The same appeals for the mysterous hedgehog whom they call White. In this poster this hedgehog is baby blue/ light blue: grey!?. But without jumping into speculations, this hedgehog might just be a character that will/might help Sonic. Now Gamespot, gaming magazines nor IGN never said or mentioned anything about Shadow being in the game. But still...Sonic Team comfirmed that old character will appear.

Hey, by the way, thanks for ripping it. The song sounds great! Better than I expected, actually. Can't wait to hear Shadow's theme. :) [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 19:44, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Sonic Team once mentioned that this game will feature online capablities. And we can guess Sonic Team an't lying or changing their minds because we can see Xbox Live next to Xbox 360. Which shows it will support online capablies.
For the 3 logo's we can see there are Xbox 360|Xbox Live PLAYSTATION 3 PC.
Yes, when a company is adversting a game, they will always use the game company's logo. Now ps3 and xbox had their logo there. But what about PC? It just says PC. Now from other games, PC logo are normally in black and white and says PC/CD or PCD/DVD.[http://www.2kgames.com/davincicode/],[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Ut2k4box.jpg]
. Look at those 2 links giving a picture of 2 pc games, you can clearly see that is how a pc game version logo is.

==M.S or...==
Once again, for the PC logo, if you zoom in, you can see the shadow behind the text, which seems like it as been printed on the poster. And last but not the least! The PC text is much bigger than xbox 360 and ps3's logo.

I've noticed this in the article, but even on the Metal Sonic character page in a different context. Here, though, this comment is made:

"'''Metal Sonic''' - Confirmed to be in the true final stage, known as "The Void", which is the 11th stage in the game. He supposedly absorbs the remaning energy of the defeated true final boss or may very well be the final boss himself. This event could be a tie-in to the [[Sonic Rivals]] storyline."
Now I have completely prove me point, no need for reverting!
:[[User:Xino|>x<ino]] 05:05, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

I edited the wording a bit from what it used to be but nevertheless, the question remains: is this or is this not true? Is MS really appearing in the game? Is "The Void" the final stage? [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 19:11, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Metal Sonic's in this game? As much as i think thats cool, its a bit random having him just appear and absorb all the energy. Can someone confirm?
But that hedgehog doesn't look white, looks light blue to me...Maybe IGN & Gamespot didn't get the colours right, because sometimes showing off a game demo at a conference or meeting, doesn't bring out the best quality. Anyway, we shall see what that Hedgehog is at E3.

Best place to put it was in the Reception section. Check it out and let me know what you think of the way it's worded. [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 20:43, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Personally, I think we need to leave this straight as a rumor: neither confirmed true nor confirmed false. On the one hand, that part of the poster, although different-looking than the norm, looks real, and the poster as a whole matches with what we've heard in the news. Plus, the "white" hedgehog is really supposed to be silver, so his colors could look slightly different between game and poster. On the other hand, we can't really rule out a fake poster yet; it is an unusual PC logo, and I personally think that the image of Shadow looks like it was ripped off something from his game (it even kinda looks like he's holding an invisible gun in his lower hand). So, both options are still rumors as of this time. I must admit, I am really hoping that the PC is true, but it is slightly hard to believe, so I just don't know. I just wish someone would confirm or deny this. [[User:I.M.Fearless|I.M.Fearless]] 19:54, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Omega collects the second Chaos Emerald in a twisted version of Flame Core. At the end of Shadow's story, Shadow seals Mephiles in the Scepter of Darkness but he escapes ("What worked 10 years ago no longer does") and uses the green and yellow emeralds to create an army of clones. == E3 TRAILER ==

I have just seen the trailer and corrected some notes in this article.

First:
*Sonic isn't the Iblis Trigger! The white hedgehog said, "I've finally found it... the Iblis Trigger!"
Now, saying the word "it" means it as to be an object animal or thing. In Sonic world we all know Sonic is a male, so...Sonic can no longer be called a "it" because he is an animal: Hedgehog, since he is a male, then he should be called "he".

*Doctor Eggman is now taller than before and skinny!. The same applies for Sonic, longer legs, even longer than the type of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. It seems IGN were over extreggrating about Sonic being tall just like a human. And talking about 5foot.

*The promo poster: that poster is real but 100% spoiled and edited. That white hedgehog isn't blue! The game doesn't even have a PC version... yet. The same may even apply for the logo provided, about Xbox 360 and having Xbox Live next to it. Players and people might think we can play this game via xbox live. Now I think that picture should be removed or should show more explanation about it's editory!

*CHARACTERS: like Sonic Team said, some characters from Sonic world will return. To me it seems only Shadow is returning. The white Hedgehog, it seems he can tranform to a super form.
**Sonic
**Eggman
**Princess Elise
**Shadow
**White Whedgehog
**Iblis Trigger

*GAMEPLAY: From the trailer, starting with Sonic. Shows him running, doing the attack moves and stuff. And showing off that invisible air ride thing Sonic riding on. Then move on to Shadow. He can be seen riding a jeep armed with weaponry. And using it to attack Eggman's robot. White Hedgehog, was seen fitting his gloves. Which is the normal gameplay of Sonic, then another stage shows him in super mode, manuipulating some missles fired by a robot and sending it back to it.

AGAIN, the gameplay is like Sonic Adventure and Shadow the Hegdehog combine together. Because the final boss of the game is some dragon with flames which looks like the creature of d00m 3: that guardain of light located in hell. And I think that is the Iblis Trigger, If that is not the name, Doctor Eggman told the princess, he is here to obtain the "Flames of Distaser" That creature seen was cover with flame and volcano ashes.

Y'know, for the ending, does Blaze come back to life cause of... well, y'know, about what happens with the whole thing. It doesn't say in the script about ANYONE and what happens to their lives afterwards, just that Princess Elise says it's familiar or whatever. Can you gimme some details, anyone about this or any of the above? Thanks. [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 17:22, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
CONCLUSION!

:I haven't gotten all S-Ranks yet so I can't speak for The Void (if that is what it's called, or if it even exists, though the back of the pack does say "OVER 10 Levels") but Blaze is not present at the End of the World. Only Elise and Mephiles are present at Sonic's impalement (and after all that garbage about "Nice smile!" I cheered) but everyone else sees Sonic's body later in the space-time rift thing. Omega shows no emotion, Shadow shows barely any (he just notes that they can't defeat Solaris without Sonic) and Amy bawls. Knuckles looks mad.
Now...Am I right or wrong! So...now:
:Bawling, eh? Heh, typical Amy. --[[User:Luigifan|Luigifan]] 11:59, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
#SONIC isn't the Iblis Trigger
:In the end FMV, Elise blows out the flame of Solaris (after giving more "Hey-look-I'm-a-human-Amy" crap about preferring Sonic to the rest of the world) and then everything is reset, with Elise not remembering Sonic but Sonic remembering Elise (?!) So, if it was reset, Blaze could still be alive. Or she could come back for The Void. That's a lot of S-Ranks, you know. - [[User:Super Doogles|Super Doogles]] 17:43, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
#The Iblis Trigger is the final creature/boss, or the Iblis Trigger is the key to unlocking the creature or power: Flames of Disaster, Eggman was looking for
:EDIT: Forgot this part. Tails (Crisis City), Omega (Flame Core), Knuckles (Tropical Jungle), Silver (Dusty Desert), Rouge (Wave Ocean), Amy (White Acropolis), Shadow (Kingdom Valley), in that order, get Emeralds. Hope you didn't want colors.
#And yes the princess is human, for the editor adding if the princess was...
#Each character has is or her own gameplay symbol
#Will this game follow up Sonic Adventure storyline? Shadow the Hedgehog contiunity? Sonic Heroes? Old Sonic the Hedgehog start off or just a fresh start!?
:[[User:Xino|>x<ino]] 00:46, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

:Thanks. As I said, I knew about all that stuff so I knida figured Blaze's sacrifice was permanent. And thanks for the info on who's there when it happens right away. Like I said, I wasn't sure since the script isn't all that specific. If you EVER unlock The Void, I'm dying to know what happens in that stage. Oh, and I got a question: After unlocking the characters, y'know how they're playable in Trail or whatever, can you use them on any stage or only ones specific to that story. E.g., Amy and Blaze can only play on Silver's (versions of the) Stages, if that makes sense. And wha.... Sonic remembers Elise?! How?! :P Anyway, thanks for the info and no colors weren't needed for the Emeralds. :D Oh, by the way, what about Tails? What was his expression. It would hlep if I had a video somewhere but I can't find one. I've seen practically every vid except the scene before the final Act and the ending of silver's Story. Know where I could find either; I'm dying to see them both! :D [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 19:14, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
:No, you're just an idiot. They've barely shown anything yet, and it can easily be assumed that that boss shown isn't even close to the final boss--it's probably an early boss. Thus far, they've only SHOWN Shadow, but that doesn't mean he's the only one. As for that poster, it's 100% real, yes, but NOT edited. How can you determine that from one trailer? More characters WILL return--it's a guaranteed fact. SEGA is just showing off the main plot characters, and the main playable characters at this moment in time. They'll show more later, but not yet. Oh, and Sonic IS the Iblis Trigger. 'It' refers to a thing, yes, and the Iblis Trigger is a thing. However, that 'thing,' the Iblis Trigger, also happens to be a person--a he. Sonic is both an 'it'--the Iblis Trigger, and a 'he'--a male hedgehog. The logo on that article is also completely accurate. As for the new hedgehog turning gold, my guess is that he changes color when he uses his powers, and that 'teal' color is one of them. The gold is probably yet another one, too. Sonic is the Iblis Trigger, and he is probably meant to trigger Iblis, but that doesn't mean he's evil. --[[User:68.74.204.174|68.74.204.174]] 01:45, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

::See that's the thing, you don't actually unlock the other characters. Rouge plays Tropical Jungle for Shadow, Tails plays a second Wave Ocean for Sonic, and Blaze plays Wave Ocean for Silver, but other than that they're only playable in certain parts of certain stages (for instance: In Shadow's White Acropolis, you start as Shadow, then play as Rouge and find three keys, then go back to Shadow and take out searchlights in the Jeep of Awesomeness). Not even in multiplayer unless there's another way to unlock them than what the article says.
::Tails' expression was kind of like "zomg Sonic's dead :'(" Not that I remember all that well or care to watch it again.
::Sonic remembers Elise because Sonic Team writes plots as well as I perform neurosurgery (hint: notsogood). And no, I don't know where you can find the videos other than YouTube or Google Video (which I doubt would work), sorry. - [[User:Super Doogles|Super Doogles]] 19:53, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
::PS: I'm working on those S-Ranks. S-Rank Shadow's Flame Core hard mode was fun.
:::Unless it was removed from the game, I do believe that the other characters are unlocked by completing missions in the Town Stages. Tails, Rouge, and Amy are unlocked by simply beating the missions, while Knuckles, Omega, and Blaze are unlocked by completing the missions with all S-Ranks. I also do believe that this is in the strategy guide. From what I've heard, Amigos are unlocked by doing missions related to his/her main character (Tails and Knuckles for Sonic, Rouge and Omega for Shadow, and Amy and Blaze for Silver), and upon unlocking them, they are unlocked in the 'Trial Mode,' whatever that is, and also in Multiplayer Mode. --[[User:Ultima the Hedgehog|Ultima]] 16:02, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

::::Obviously it was removed from the game (check achievements: Dark Hero is all Shadow's town missions S-Ranked, by then which should have both Rouge and Omega and ''I don't'') kind of like the day/night cycle. :| (Where's Galvatron and his strategy guide?! I shouldn't be too mean, I was in Gamestop today and forgot to look at it...) - [[User:Super Doogles|Super Doogles]] 00:48, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Wow, I can't believe i started this entire part just because i was pissed off that i couldn't figure out the plot for myself ( cuz i don't have a 360). anyway, thanks for filling me in. I read the guide in gamestop and sorta figured it out on my own. btw, we should definitely put this stuff in the article. It is highly relevant to the story, and the current article says almost nothing about the plot. someone should work on a way to incorperate it soon. [[User:Bobcheezy|Bobcheezy]], the ULTIMATE life form
Ok then
*Explain to me some brief details about the word "Flames of Disaster!"
*Yes you are right, Shadow isn't the only character. What other character are you expecting!? Chris!? Sorry son...SEGA are not putting all this childish character you fAnb0ys and kids loves. Why do you think Shadow's gameplay symbol now refers to violent. I which Shadow's game, when killing the enemy, blood comes out, so kids won't be able to play it.
*The promo poster? Are you the one that edited the picture!?
*If the white hedgehog can change colour, tell me, "how come the hedgehog didn't change is colour to baby/light blue in the trailer?"
*Iblis Trigger!? You have no idea what you are saying, you weren't even making your self clear. When you are refering to someone, you don't call them it! You call them him or her refereing to their gender. The fact of all, you don't call human it! Yes Sonic isn't human, but have you ever heard anyone in the game call Sonic it? Have you heard anybody in this world, gamers or people call Sonic it? You can only use the word it, when you are pointing out to a robot, object, animals if you are not sure about it's gender.
*The boss shown, the same way Sonic Adventure was shown. You can see the city, being destoryed. The same way Chaos did in Sonic Adventure 1. That character is incredibly large. Eggman referes to Flames of Disaster. Which is that monster. The same way Eggman wanted Chaos.
*Iblis Trigger again, have you seen the cheap trailer? The white hedgehog was looking at the city, which means he can be refering to the city. But it can't be the city because the city's name goes by the anme SOLEANE.

You don't even make sense! You said so yourself, it refers to a thing, the thing is the flame monster. Like I said before you can't call someone when you know his/her gender "it". Iblis is a word used in Islamic devil. How can Sonic be evil? From the trailer, who do you think looks much eviler!? POINTED OUT! CASED CLOSED! DISMISSED! I rest my cheap case!

*Knuckles
*Tails

*But I an't too sure of Amy

Left Kingdom Valley going for about 20-30 minutes and no change. Even if it did exist, it doesn't move noticably in 10-15 minutes, which is all an average level takes. That sucks, because I was looking forward to that! - [[User:Super Doogles|Super Doogles]] 17:49, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

:Yes. Especially since they ''showed us a video of it working'' months ago. - [[User:Super Doogles|Super Doogles]] 19:56, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
::No, I don't expect Chris to appear. I expect Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Rouge to appear, along with some possible other characters who were either scrapped or are other major characters since the turn to 3D. (Btw, that last one was mine but I didn't realize I wasn't logged in.)
:To my knowledge, Perfect Chaos was shown in the intro movie to Sonic Adventure, but that doesn't mean he appeared in any of the early TRAILERS! Iblis, which if it does mean 'devil,' would more and likely be that monster shown. However, I think that it was simply a creature created by Eggman, with the ''Flames of Disaster.'' If 'Iblis' means 'Devil,' then 'Iblis Trigger' would mean 'Devil Trigger.' It's quite possible that it isn't exactly Sonic, but Super Sonic, but let's not get into that.
:Now, if that monster was the Iblis Trigger, then it wouldn't be the final boss of the game. Why? Because if it was only triggering the iblis, then wouldn't it be more likely that that creature was simply to bring out the iblis, and that would be the final boss? Just because Sonic is destined to trigger the Iblis, doesn't mean that he's evil.
:As for the promo poster, I was guessing that it's either a scanning error, or some lighting effects which caused it. I can't do CG work. I'm crappy at art-related stuff PERIOD.
:Now, when you're refering to someone, you generally do call him/her a 'he' if you don't know it's gender or if you know that the person is a male, or 'she' when you know that the person is a female. HOWEVER, I have a few things to state. First off, the hedgehog is looking down at Sonic (Gamespot, IGN, and other gamesites confirm it), so he's clearly refering to Sonic. Second off, though Sonic is a he, Silver (if that actually is his name) is calling him an 'it' because he's refering to the Iblis Trigger. The Iblis Trigger is an 'it,' and it is also Sonic. Sonic is both a he and an it, because he's both a male hedgehog and the Iblis Trigger. What's so hard about that? Maybe it was a little confusing, but how simple is it to determine that when the new hedgehog said 'it,' he meant Sonic?
:The city being shown is early on in the game, from what I can tell. So, if it's so early in the game, why would and how could that creature be the final boss of the game? The creature doesn't necessarily have to be the 'Flames of Disaster,' but something created by them. We can't tell the whole plot of the game from a single trailer.
:As for the city, we don't know if that city is Soleanna. We do know that there will be a number of Town Stages, so we can assume that there will be many stages. For all we know, the city shown with the creature is a different one. It could be Central City, Westopolis, Soleanna, Station Square, a new city, or another known Sonic city. Personally, I actually think that THAT city (the city with the creature) is Central City.
:Well, I had a nice long post now. Why don't we WAIT and see what the truth is? I still highly doubt that they'd show the final boss of the game in the first major trailer (the first one showed off the game, but the second actually showed new plot elements). Bah, maybe they'll reveal some new info by the end of E3. --[[User:Ultima the Hedgehog|Ultimate]] 20:29, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

News flash: you're probably going to need to wait a LOT longer than 20-30 minutes. What I heard about it is, the time change was planned to be real-time. Meaning that it would actually change according to clock time. So, try it in the daytime, and try again at night. [[User:I.M.Fearless|I.M.Fearless]] 12:13, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

:I've played this at every time of day. ''For instance'' around 11PM-midnight last night I worked on S-Ranking Radical Train's hard mode (that train moves ''fast'') and it was still daytime. Night before that I spent about three forevers running around Soleanna's forest area looking for Town missions and it was still day. - [[User:Super Doogles|Super Doogles]] 16:28, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Like SEGA said, they don't want to bring to many characters, non childish ones! This game suppose to be the represent of Sonic the Hedgehog on the Mega Drive Systems.
To me:
*Tails should be in it! 100%
*Knuckles should be in it! 100%
*Possible Amy, but who knows....50%
*Rouge: I dunno about this but 50%
That is it! The rest shouldn't be there, example Cream, too childesh the same applys for that robot! The robot as no use in the story anymore

I relaized it wasn't available on the Wii awhile back. Now, this kinda makes me a bit upset. I am not getting a 360, ever, unless soemone gives itto be for like free, or a few dollars. Duh...that is what I was saying earlier. Like I said before, Sonic nor Super Sonic cannot be the Iblis. The White hedgehog, was looking at the city, which he referes to, the white hedgehog possible means the monster. And most of all, the white hedgehog might mean Doctor Eggman, for releasing the creature.

Huh!? did you do the picture!?
To me, the picture was 100% edited. The white hedgehog is white, his rumoured name is Silver. And we all know silver is a white colour! From that poster, the image of the hedghog is blue: light blue or baby blue!. It shows PC. If you look at all pc version games, you will notice that isn't how the logo looks like. Again the PC logo is bigger than ps3 & xbox 360's.

Still listing to the words of IGN!?
First of all: YES Sonic is an hedgehog which we can call a it. But we know it is now a male, then we can now call him a He. Who ever doesn't know the gender of Sonic can call him a it. Possible the white hedgehog, guessing if Sonic is a he or she.
Again, after the Hedgehog says "Iblis trigger blah blah blah". It shows and zooms to Sonic. Smiling, the background was redish and Sonic standing on a mountian. If you acctualy reverse and watch the trailer again, you will notice, they Showed Sonic again. WHich means it as been showed twiced.
Second, the white hedgehog wasn't looking down at Sonic[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Sonicnext8.jpg] ''(if you are blind enough, or can't tell a eye purple)''. Then Sonic was standing on a moutina, above with the clouds...so...how can the white hedgehog be steerling at Sonic below, and Sonic ontop of him standing on a moutain rock!?
Third. Have you checked the Iblish article!? Do you know what a Iblis is? It is bascially calling Satan or Devil in islamic way. The same way you prounce "shatan". Sonic cannot be the devil/Iblis, because he is good. Super Sonic cannot be the devil/Iblis because he is the saviour.
The devil/Iblis might be: Doctor Eggman, because of his evil deeds. The Devil/Iblis can be the monster that is the overall size of Perfect Chaos.
Do you know what a trigger is? A trigger is triggering the key of an object. If you want to make a gun fire bullets, you have to push the key, and the key is the trigger.
Now that is it, Devil Trigger: Iblis Trigger. | Devil Key : Iblis Key.

Yeah, [[Sonic and the Secret Rings]] is just as fast, if not faster. [[User:Roxyr|Hyper Hedgehog]]
In the starting of the trailer. The princess knows a sercert: Flames of Disaster via using the Chaos Emerald. Eggman captures her for both. Now tell me...what one is the key/trigger?
The chaos emerald is the key/trigger, because it is the way of unlocking the flames of disaster. Who is and what is the flames of disaster. The gigantic monster shown at the trailer is! Because the monster is covered with volcanic flames and fire. Around the scenary, is all flames. The white hedgehog scenary[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Sonicnext8.jpg] is the cause of the Monster.
Why would an official trailer show of one of the boss in the game!?
Face it:
*Eggman, chaos emerald or the monster are the prime suspect of being the Iblis Trigger
*Sonic nor Super Sonic isn't the Iblis/Devil
*The monster is the final boss and possible Flames of Disaster, same way of Perfect Chaos

Maybe there are other reasons why as well cause, as was mentioned, Secret Rings does seem like it can get by with this "sensation of speed", as shown by the Chaos-Control like ability Sonic acquires in Secret Rings. I wonder if there are secular sources that testify to this... Anyway, I would, personally, love for it to get ported and it's always a possibility but as of the moment, is purely speculation as no other sources have claimed otherwise to it ''being'' ported to the Wii. I think maybe I'll search the web for stuff when I get around to it, just to be sure. I may even find other sources that state that iw on't be ported for whatever reason(s). TIMELINE:

I beat the game a few days ago, although I don't have the "Void" stage, as thats a lot of work I haven't had time to do. A bit ridiculous, actually, all that to unlock mutiple things. Anyhow, I went through and cleaned up some things in the various sections that I noticed were wrong, but as this is my first Wikipedia edit, I probably didn't do it in the correct format, so if someone would go through and clean it up and make it official or what not, that would be wonderful.
Sonic Adventure--> Sonic Adventure 2---> SonicHeroes---> Shadow the Hedgehog
where would this game fit in? it suppose to be the marking of good o days SOnic the Hedgehog on the mega drive.

Further, as I said I've beaten the game, and can go back and check things, so if anyone needs any information to fix this article, please feel free to ask me, as I have a lot of free time and would be more than happy to help fix up this article.
==Silver?==
Where did this Silver name come from? Is there an official source of it or what? [[User:Sukecchi|Sukecchi]] 15:21, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

One thing I do have to note is that, while I have read mutiple places that you can unlock various characters in "free" mode, I have S ranked all of Sonics Missions, and completed all of Silvers, thus I "Should" have Tails, Knuckles, and Blaze. However, despite my best efforts, I have been unable to unlock this rumored mode, or play as those characters outside of their respective segments of the game. Whether this mode is unlocked by getting all the Golds/Silvers in the game or not remains to be seen, but as of now I'm thinking its unlikely.

:To unlock the amigos, you have to beat missions given to you by people inside Town Stages. I don't know about Silver's, but I believe that Sonic's missions are given to you by Sonic Man, and Shadow's missions are by the GUN Soldier. Simply beating them as Sonic, Shadow, and Silver get you Tails, Rouge, and Amy respectably. However, S-Ranks are required for Knuckles, Omega, and Blaze. Free Mode is unlocked by beating all missions as S-Ranks, I believe. I do not know, though. --[[User:69.210.125.237|69.210.125.237]] 19:52, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Actually, all the missions are given by random townspeople, and Sonic man is merely one of the trials in both Sonic and Silver's stories as someone you have to race against. As I said, I've completed all of Sonic's with S ranks, and working on S ranking all of Silver's. I'll probably S rank all of Silvers and Shadows tonight, starting on the Acts sometime tomorrow. As far as unlocking Free mode by S ranking everything, it will be awhile but I'll know eventually if someone else doesn't first. I doubt it though. Why unlock the Three amigos for merely beating the Trials when you don't have Free mode until you unlock everything? Shadow does have a few missions from a GUN soldier, but they're not his only ones, not in the majority of his, and Silvers are random towns people as well.
IGN called it Silver. We can't tell if it's true or not, but considering the other playable hedgehogs in the game (Sonic and Shadow) they may have wanted him to coincide with them, and have three playable hedgehogs starting with the letter 'S.' According to IGN, Silver (as they call him) is traveling through time to stop Sonic. Considering past dealings with various gamesites like IGN and Gamespot, like in Shadow the Hedgehog (they kept on saying that it took place fifty years after SA2, and that Shadow crash-landed onto an alien planet) it could very well be inaccurate info. I say we wait until claiming it official, but don't just ignore it. IGN may have recieved exclusive info on the game. --[[User:Ultima the Hedgehog|Ultimate]] 20:33, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

I'm hoping to try to verify or put an end to various rumors, but so far the only things that haven't been completed are gaining all Gold/silver Medals, and I doubt I'll be the first to get them all. Still, any questions you all have, feel free to ask.

:I'm going to talk in all capital letters now okay.
The same way people here got the name confused with the move "Breakdancing". IGN is using a fancy nickname. That might not be the name, the same goes to Gamespot. Giving the move a Ninja style.
:S-RANKING ALL TOWN MISSIONS FOR A CHARACTER DOES NOT DO ANYTHING. S-RANKING ALL SHADOW'S TOWN MISSIONS WILL NOT UNLOCK OMEGA. BEATING THEM ALL WILL NOT UNLOCK ROUGE. PRINCESS ELISE IS ALSO A FURRY. Wow, boy I'm glad that you went and S ranked everything, just to put an end to all the confusion, what a guy....
Sorry, guys, my bad. I was the guy who put that in the article in the first place; I'm kinda new to editing Wikipedia (but not new to the whole Sonic the Hedgehog series). First, I forgot to cite myself (didn't know how) and then I had this information added without saying that it was still speculation. As far as I can tell, the info is correct; the name makes sense, and while some details on IGN may be wrong, I don't recall them making a mistake on a name, especially for a player character. Besides, Ultima, Shadow the Hedgehog is not really that great of an example; the story may have been like that when it was first reported, and most people think it's a royal piece of junk in its final form. So in short, I'm new (and sorry for the trouble), Silver came from a (sometimes) credible source, and it's at least something better than everyone calling it the "white hedgehog". Hey, sorry this was long, but like I said, I'm new here. Patience will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. [[User:I.M.Fearless|I.M.Fearless]] 13:52, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Personally speaking, I'd feel much more comfortable if another website besides IGN said his name was Silver. For example, IGN also said Sonic's height was 5'10" (almost taller than I am!) - a few other websites I've read on this game seem to state otherwise, that Sonic is the same height he's always been (3'11"). If somebody like Gamespot or 1up.com mentions his name is Silver, then I'll conceed. Oh, and also: Welcome to Wikipedia! :D [[User:BlazeHedgehog|BlazeHedgehog]] 14:35, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Ahem. There was some confusion spread by that achievements list. Now lets set the record straight. It's all or nothing. For Free Mode, it seems you must S rank ALL of the Town missions for Sonic, Shadow, ''and'' Silver. I have yet to see anyone do this. Also, for Super Mode (the emerald) you must S rank ALL of the Act missions for Sonic, Shadow, and Silver. The "Nights of Kronos" achievement is simply S ranking Last Episode. Collecting all of the Silver Medals is said to yield a gold medal and an extra level. I do not have the game, so I cannot verify this. (I'm basically telling you to do it :P). Also, the "strategy guide" claiming to say these things is apparently ''Japanese''. The US guide does little besides locate all of the Silver Medals and give tips on the levels.
If other website calls the white hedgehog Silver, then it is official!

If we just add a rumour we agree in, like agree in the talk page, then that is alright.

We saw a damn poster, which is 100% edited!
**The editor, wanted to spread a rumour to make gamers think this game is coming for the pc.
But have '''you''' heard anybody say this game is coming out for the PC? accept for us?
**The background: the background looks like the stage in wide cannon, from Shadow The Hedgehog. The second stage, Black Doom teleports Shadow to a Cannon and wakes up.
**As ''I.M.Fearless'' said in the PC VERSION Section: that Shadow looks like he as been ripped off something (copied and pasted). Like his right hand seems to be holding a gun before, but cancelled out.
**Silver's original and main skin is White, resembling the name Silver! When Silver uses his powers, his powers gloves, with a shiny line glows. While using his powers, his skin changes, from white to green/gold. I have seen all in-gameplay videos provided by gamespot and didn't see anyhere Silver changing his skin from white to blue!
Anybody can edit a picture too good! It will look real, here is an example: too bad the image got deleted. It was a picture of Spiderman taking off his mask, when confronted by Harry. It was from Spiderman 2. But that editor edited too good, it look so much like the Venom custome even painted Peter's eyes like he has the venom power!

*''It has been speculated that the as-of-yet unknown fourth playable character may be Metal Sonic, or Super Sonic.''
First of all, this isn't a big deal!
Like I said before, we need to see who is talking about the rumour, is it coming from gamers on the internet, magazine, website, community? We can't add a rumour because we believe one person might be right!:/
But yes, those rumour might be ok, because there are some rumours that don't really need to be in-spread.
However: why do Super Sonic want to be the fourth player, Super Sonic is Sonic and comes from Sonic. Metal Sonic is bad, and created by Eggman.
This game features hedgehogs, Sonic, Shadow and Silver: Blue, Black & White! That's the way it goes.

What's the source that says that a PC port is being released March 30, 2007?
:Find me proof that the PC logo was edited in. It looks real enough to me and it contained legitimate information that was leaked before it was posted publically. For all intents and purposes, the image is real - why would anybody edit something like that? If it was a hoax, the whole picture would be hoaxed, not a tiny little icon. === 4 PLAYERS ===

== Other Voice Actors ==
There isnt no 4th character! The game will allow us/ gamers to play with 4 controllers!
For an example:
The game Shadow the Hedgehog, it says 1-2 players. But did we play with any other players other than Shadow? NO!
That 1-2 player was for multiplayer!
You are forgetting that this game will feature online playablities, so if it's 2 player then it will be weak. Multiplayer as evolved, right now NeXt Gen gaming is allowing 32 players all at once!
This game will feature 1-4 players which means:
*We can only play as the only 3 characters in the single player: Sonic/ Blue, Shadow/Black and Siler/White
*The 1-4 will be available in the multiplayer section. But yes if there are 3 characters who will be the fourth!?
We don't know, so stop making up fake rumours! The 4 character can be Eggman, Princess Elise or one of the character you meet up during the single player.
When you are playing a multiplayer game, it is unfair for the other opponent to have greater skills than his/her victim: I mean, player 1 choosing Shadow and Player 2 choosing Super Sonic. Ofcousre Super Sonic will have better advantages!

I'm sure plenty of people have seen the credits 20 times over at this point, so can we use the listed Voice Actors as a guide to who the other characters are played by. I'm pretty sure David Wills (Espio) is both Duke Soleanna and the G.U.N. guy talking to Shadow at the beginning of his story. Anyone got anything for Duke Soleanna, or the doctors and what-not?

==Mixed Reactions==
Yes, in Shadow the Hedgehog, it says 1-2 players. In the multiplayer section, it suppose to be Shadow or Sonic. Maybe Shadow or one of Sonic' friends. But it was actually Metal Shadows!

"This game has been recieved well by fans" should be changed.
The same will appeal for this game. The multiplayer will be SOnic, Shadow & Silver. But who can the 4th player be, the fourth player can either be: Eggman. Remember the character as to match same skills as of his opponents or has to be fair!

I think it would be fairer to say the reception has been ''mixed''. I've seen every kind of opinion browsing the Sonic fan-community, but I could not call their reception of Sonic '06 "well recieved" at all.

As an example: the talk on the Green Hill Zone forums, a major Sonic site, is extremely negative. One of the members wrote this: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/43273636/. I have encountered others comparing it to Superman 64. This game has not been recieved well by everyone, and the article should reflect it.
Is this clear enough? please state your own reason about this breif...

* [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sonic_the_Hedgehog_%282006_game%29&diff=52898741&oldid=52853639] the information was later moved it down to the rumors section because of the edited wording

Although the title says "Summer 2006", I've called around EB Games and quite a few other places, and they said Sega intends on releasing [[Sonic the Hedgehog (2006 game)|Sonic 2K6]] the same day as the [[PS3]], at least in [[Canada]] (where I am). Shall i add that note to the release date information on the page?

The void stage as listed stated that as fact the rumor that a silver medal glitch was why the void stage wasnt unlockable, even though this has been disproven by two people now, to my knowledge. I changed the listed information over to the truth as it stands right now, but I doubt Gamefaqs counts as a reliable source, so I didnt bother siting.

Regardless, I think that the "Void" stage, and Super Sonic playable in normal levels should be prehaps mentioned in a "rumors" section that would change as more information came it.

Lets just leave it as "TBA" or speculative/what ever they call that thing:/

== About Sonic apparently causing the Egg Carrier's engines too malfunction ==

Where does it state this? It says when they go into the future that Elise actually died on the exploding Egg Carrier, therefore Sonic couldn't have started it and saved her, could he? [[User:81.170.119.192|81.170.119.192]] 23:12, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes; the second time he tries to save her, he succeeds but he learns that he is the reason he started the engines to malfunction for whatever reason. The first time (when he arrives too late), it is as still as if Sonic caused the engines to malfunction but since he was unaware of that fact and was kinda late to do anything about it anyways, (both) Elise (and Eggman) died. Anyway, think about with Shadow and Mephiles' first appearance; Shadow was clueless that he was the one to seal him into the Scepter of Darkness but it was a result of him sealing him later on that Mephiles came back to life, harboring such resentment for Shadow. It's the same paradox, but I have to admit, it's hard to discern at first I guess. Hope that helped but I may not have explained it that well - SEGA has confused a lot of people because of the whole game. [[User:Knuckles sonic8|Knuckles sonic8]] 01:43, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

* Well, Mephiles was right, then. Sonic IS the Iblis Trigger. If Sonic caused the engines to malfunction, and is Elise's death brought upon Iblis, then Sonic truly is the Iblis Trigger. However, how did Sonic cause the engines to malfunction in the first place? Yes, I know that the last comment was a while ago, but I figured I'd ask, anyway. I've seen every game scene (though I haven't played the game), and I've managed to uncover just about every secret of this game's plot--or at least speculate on how it likely happened. However, I never noticed this, before. --[[User:69.210.123.36|69.210.123.36]] 00:20, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

My bet is that Sony saw how the 360 version did, and they want to enhance it as much as possible.

:Hate to burst your bubble, but it's been confirmed that it was delayed only only to give Sonic Team time to add downloadable content. —The preceding [[Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages|unsigned]] comment was added by [[User:209.244.42.204|209.244.42.204]] ([[User talk:209.244.42.204|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/209.244.42.204|contribs]]){{#if:{{{2|}}}| {{{2}}}|}}.

Hmm... the link was in the article, but it's gone. It linked to a site that said Sonic Team weren't finished putting online content in the PS3 version, so they delayed it.

Unless the downloadable content is some kind of patch or something that fixes many of the game's "problems", there really isn't anything Sonic Team can do to change many of the critics' opinions. [[User:ChromeWulf ZX|ChromeWulf ZX]] 13:52, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

==Its not all bad==
You know, not everyone disliked this game. There are alot of good things about it, and it has had quite a few good reviews. But in the reception it only mentions the bad points.
:Probably because the reception is overwhelmingly negative. There is the occasional good review, but all the major gaming media rated it quite poorly. --[[User:Guess Who|Guess Who]] 19:47, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

:The list of complaints ought to be reworked. I'll take a shot at reworking it after I read several reviews. I've not played the game personally, but I have played Sonic Adventure I and II quite extensively. If I make any mistakes, please try to correct me. PS: Remember that sources are especially important when relaying criticism or praise. –''[[User:Gunslinger47|Gunslinger47]]'' 23:02, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

::I deleted more than I had first expected. What I left were the core criticisms. The ones that I've never heard much debate over and the ones that are mentioned in every review that I just read. I also noted (from my experience) that these issues existed in some form or another in past titles. Now, I'll overview the criticisms that I stripped out.
::Firstly, I merged the control complaints with the camera complaints. The reason for this is that much of the control issues are due to the bad camera, since controls are camera-relative. I still remember in Sonic Adventure I, they wanted me to walk along a thin path. Half-way down, that annoying pink thing says "Don't fall!~ ^_^" and the camera spins 90°. Was that some kind of sick joke? :)
::I boiled down all the character-specific complaints into one entry: You play as Sonic less than 33% of the time. Complaining that the other characters are different than Sonic (i.e. Shadow drives around, Silver is slow, etc.) is just, essentially, complaining that you're not playing as Sonic in the first place.
::As for "linear levels" and "running into trees and walls". I haven't played it personally, but I can't find many complaints about this specifically. Running into things when you're flying along at 90 miles an hour is a fact of life. Either that, or it's because of poor controls and/or camera angles, both previously mentioned above. –''[[User:Gunslinger47|Gunslinger47]]'' 23:42, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

I know but you guys shouldn't really blame the characters, you should blame the gameplays offered by them. Sonic Heroes returned Sonic to his roots, he just had help that's all. Just because Shadow's game wasn't the big game everyone hoped it would be, doesn't mean you have to HATE Shadow. Everyone used to love him more than Sonic, but now because of this other character issue, everyone hates him. Who knows, though, he might become one of Sonic's closest friends just like Knuckles did. - B. Anonymous. January 20, 2007

Well in sonic Adventure 2 the secndary players had good well basic controls and there were more percise and they were faster but in this one they are slow and Omega's gun does not even have a lock-on feature well it does but does not show what you locked on to. and shadows moves are not good he cannot even do a simple spin dash and when did his color turn from gloden to red and get this he cannot even use a chaos control in game. Tails fly but that all he does. Rouge glides and drop bombs which is like wow when did she turn for knucles style fighting to tails? Amy S-U-C-K-S okey get this she turns invisable and when she turns uninsibleable she stop right on the spot and for about 2 seconds and you know if you play sonic games you cannot stand still. Even for a second.Knuckles is well powerful but his moves are too non-presise. Lets see umm yeah last is Blaze the Cat the only good one because she can use homing attack. I think that Sega sould bring back Sonic Adventure style moves presise and powerfull, and Silver should go back to the future and stay in the future. I do like him it's that too many hegehogs. Shadow should quit the GUN and when did he join? Last they should make the secondary charters a option to play. And No more bottom less pits, in Sonic Adventure remember the good old days when you got though the level without trying getting though the level all those pit arggh. And last 9 levels wow down from the 30 in Adventure 2. Thats all thanks

:::Again, that is for the Japanese PS3 version. Does anyone read the text people post? Unless you found some other than the three recently posted, it's the Japanese version, which was released at the same time as the Japanese 360 version. Not saying I think it will be any better, just saying that we can base it off those movies. If someone posts them on YouTube and say the US PS3 Version of the game, then it is a little more verifiable. I still find it hard to believe that no one has gotten around to reviewing this game yet, or posting it. ::As a staff member of Sonic HQ, I can't say as I can verify where exactly they would've read that; it's not on the news section, and while it's possible they could've gotten it from the forums, I'm pretty sure there isn't a consensus leaning toward any statements like this (I should know, I practically '''live''' there).
::This being said, I've seen posts on, say, S2Beta that explicitly state that ''the differences between the two versions are '''negligible''''', as I would expect. The load times are more inconsistent in length, but are in all the same places and, on average, are just as bad. All the control and camera issues remain. Apparently there's a bit more slowdown. The good news is that you can once again just jump into enemies to kill them, but this isn't anything major. - You do mean that the PS3 version is selling way more that the 360 version, right? ::Unless you have something to say about the levels, or some point to be made regarding them, including the information is [[Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information|indiscriminate]] and unencyclopedic. Consider forking content to the ''[[:StrategyWiki:|StrategyWiki]]'' using [[Help:Interwiki linking|interwiki links]] and the <nowiki>{</nowiki>{[[Template:StrategyWiki|StrategyWiki]]}} template. They could very much use the help, anyway, since [[StrategyWiki:Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)]] has not even been created yet. –''[[User:Gunslinger47|Gunslinger47]]'' 00:14, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

== Bosses and Levels ==

Alright, this article is WAY WAY WAY to long, seriously inhibitive to those who have things like 56k (I have DSL, but still), plus, this is NOT a strategy guide, this article is listing the levels, abilities, and bosses, which can and SHOULD be covered in the correct character's articles, such as Eggman's machines being in Eggman's article. -[[User:Chao9999|Chao9999]] 06:26, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

:I agree. I'm not going to personally touch anything outside of my watched sub-section until I can get a hold of a PC copy, however. –''[[User:Gunslinger47|Gunslinger47]]'' 20:17, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

==There is a shield Power-up in the game==
I saw a video of the game and the player got a shield power-up. --[[User:Coconutfred73|Coconutfred73]] 06:14, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

:…and? –''[[User:Gunslinger47|Gunslinger47]]'' 20:21, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

::The shield power isn't in the game (even though the manual states so). That's the point of this. However, actually, I do believe that you are mistaken. One of Sonic's gems gives him a shield, so it isn't actually a "power up." --[[User:Ultima the Hedgehog|Ultima]] 20:18, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

== There is no PC releace. ==

The info here is faulse. Sonic the Hedgehog PC is Sonic the Hedgehog (1) not Next Gen. As of right now Sega has no plans on releacing this game for the PC. However it is possable that it will be soon. —The preceding [[Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages|unsigned]] comment was added by [[Special:Contributions/66.242.211.132|66.242.211.132]] ([[User talk:66.242.211.132|talk]]) 23:08, 18 March 2007 (UTC).
