The term *Tech Geek* is a vernacular expression referring to high wage-earning employees typically of large tech [[corporations]] like [[Google]] and Apple, but it can also refer to tech workers at [[start-ups]].

Tech geek is often used in the pejorative to suggest:
* elitism
* selfishness
* being out of touch
* disingenuousness
* lacking compassion for other human beings.
