While it's certainly true that this is the second album Monty Python released, I'd always thought the joke here was that this is the ''first'' of the Charisma series, and the BBC album doesn't really count. So ''Another Monty Python Album'' is album one, which is why album 2 is the ''Previous Record'', as if they'd been released the wrong way round. Is that worth mentioning on the page, or am I wrong, and seeing jokes where there aren't any? --[[User:Cardinal Wurzel|Cardinal Wurzel]] 10:58, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
::I'm guessing, but I think the "Another monty python record" joke was meant to be "It's not a Beethoven record, it's another monty python record" (ie the joke only works when you see the scribble on the cover).... the "Monty Python's Previous Record" was a further subsequent joke, as many buyers at the time weren't aware of the initial BBC album, or hadn't seen/got the joke re: the scribbles on the cover, and interpreted the title of "Another monty python record" to imply there was a previous release, and thus they were often writing in asking about the whereabouts of "monty pythons' previosu album" - hence the python's perversely literally titled their next album "Monty Python's Previous Album".

I think the Beethoven thing is irrelevant, but the rest makes sense. How can we find out definitively? The albums don't get a mention very often, which is why I was pleased to find them here! --[[User:Cardinal Wurzel|Cardinal Wurzel]] 19:01, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
