Actually, I've never tried to make a bowling graph. I'm just not sure how I would best go about it. Obviously the wickets would be easy to do, but I'm not sure how to work the bowling average into the graph. Doing it just like the batting graphs wouldn't look all that great, as a bowler can of course never take more than 10 wickets in an innings but the bowling average might frequently be up around 30 or more. I don't know how I could get that looking good, but I'm happy to fiddle around and see if I can come up with something.

Please make sure that they have received a decent number of votes and a clear consensus, and when an image is ready to be removed, make sure you actually remove it from the [[WP:FPC]] page (the nominations you recently closed are all still up there). Of the ones you closed:

*[[Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Whale Shark]] had 63% support, which is enough to keep it up for voting, particularly in the "requiring additional input" section.

*[[Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Dark matter]] had 75% support, but you still didn't promote it. Either way, it only had 4 votes -- it should have been kept up.

*[[Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Filipino casualties on the first day of war]] only had 5 votes, you don't have to delist images immediately following the seventh day.

*[[Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Shallow water waves 250px.gif]] was prematurely closed, as hardly anyone commented on the new, larger version.

You've closed the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Featured_picture_candidates/June-2007#Fulmer_Falls Picrure] and it was promoted, but it does not look that it has a free licence. He is advertising a sale of the images and gives his e-mail in case somebody wants to buy it. I'd say it is very wrong to promote pictures like that.

I wish to thank you for all the work you have done on your cricket graphs. Many countless times they have answered my curiosity in regards to things like how past batting great's careers played out and also looking at current batsmen's peaks and form, etc. It is a much better and simpler way of looking at it that reading the actually numbers and that.

I would also like to make a comment about your 'past ten innings average'. This is a very helpful addition to your graphs as it better helps to determine player's form, etc. However, I do have some suggestions as to how it could be improved. The trouble is that a century ten innings ago still keeps that average up reasonably well. But a triple hundred eleven innings ago does nothing to help it. I was thinking that (if it is even possible to do that is) instead of getting the average of the last ten innings, weight say the last 15 innings in accordance to how recent they are. Example, the previous innings gets a 100 percent weighting, five innings ago might get a 70 percent weighting, 10 innings ago might get a 40 percent weighting, and so on and so forth. This could help to make the form guide more accurate. But it is just a suggestion, I'm not trying to criticise your great work and if it is too much trouble do not even worry about it.

I can't see this ever being used; I managed to get the last column of text in the key the wrong size, which is why I uploaded a new version over the top. Im afraid I am not a P.I., I do not have unlimited knowledge-seeking resources, but I do have the content of Wikipedia. The first time I spoke of a possible vested interest, was not in direct attention to any one person. I was simply astounded by how almost immediately many users had put down another user's request with little or no support for their cause. The second time, was in direct attention to user Fir0002. A very formidable number of the Featured Pictures were either nominated or self-nominated by him. So most definitely, it is more than obvious that anyone with a majority holding in any facet would have a vested interest in the outcome of that holding. Now those were my reasons, now as for you... What I said was in no way insulting or malevolent; the first time I used the word "ulterior" motive, it was being used as a Question. The second time it was in response to Fir's outcry against delistings, he even lobbyed having a minimum time in FP before delisting is possible. Furthermore, asking a question and telling a user the obvious truth is in no way something that is wrong. It is free speech at the very least. The point is, I was not rambling on trying to stir controversy, I knew what I was writing and I wrote it. Simple as that. If you are concerned that I was just trying to create some steam, then please put your mind to rest, as I was not. I am asking because I put the picture up for re-FP. It is not cropped and the whole flame is in the picture on the top, while the majority of the bottom flame (85%) is in. I suppose that me being a newer user and you being one with more history here is the core of this situation. I, as a new user, would expect to go to a thumbnail list starting with the first page. You, as a user who is not new, would probably prefer to go to the last page to see which images are the newest.
