Is this the same guy who provided the commentary for Channel 4's wonderful coverage of Sumo during the early years, which has now sadly been dropped and replaced with codswallop like Big Brother? --Phil | Talk 11:55, Aug 16, 2004 (UTC)
Yes! Pawnkingthree 20:27, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
::He has also left Santa Fe, New Mexico and moved full time to Ireland. Carptrash 20:42, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

::Living with his brother in Australia or South Africa? Carptrash (talk) 14:03, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
I am moving this to the discussion page pending further veritication. Lyall's friends are very concerned that more information about this can not be found.
He died on 25th June 2008 in Australia.
if anyone can find an obituary please let us know.

:It's published in today's (Saturday 26 July) The Age. I totally missed his death and this came as a surprise to me. It confirms he settled in Ireland but died of a stroke in Gympie, Queensland (that's pronounced with a hard "g" and rhymes with wimpy, for those who might be wondering), where his brother Andrew lives. Another brother Craig lives in South Africa. -- JackofOz (talk) 23:14, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Lyall Watson was one of the people discussed on the BBC Radio 4 programme Last Word on July 25, 2008. You should be able to find more information on the website of this programme, which you can find if you go to the BBC website and search the website for "Lyall Watson". == Watson's book "Supernature" ==
As stated in the body of the article, Mr Watson wrote Supernature.
In it he describes such matters as how a blunt razor blade sharpens itself overnight if left under a pyramid.
The clue to the true nature of the contents of this book come from Mr Watson's first name, sadly. Fletcherbrian (talk) 17:17, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
Correction to the above. The clue...lies in his middle name. Which he later used as his first name. 95.150.224.138 (talk) 10:12, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
