Development started in 2003 as playout automation system for a local FM radio station. A shortShort history ofshowing how the project was started and reached its current state:

* RadioBOSS 3.0 (2008) - Added network stream relaying, audio file tag read and write support, translation to 14 languages.
* RadioBOSS 4.0 (2009) - Software divided into editions (Express, Standard, Advanced), redesigned user interface, new major features added.
