[[File:Ambox warning pn.svg|48px|left|alt=|link=]]
Hello, Codacy2020, and '''[[Project:Introduction|welcome to Wikipedia]]'''! Thank you for [[Special:Contributions/Codacy2020|your contributions]].
{{Quote box|quote=<p>If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read [[WP:Your first article|the guide to writing your first article]].</p><p>You may want to consider using the [[Wikipedia:Article wizard|Article Wizard]] to help you create articles.</p>|width=20%|align=right}}
A tag has been placed on [[:Draft:Codacy (Software)]], requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under [[Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#G11|section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion]], because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read [[Wikipedia:Spam|the guidelines on spam]] and [[Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations]] for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by [[:Draft:Codacy (Software)|visiting the page]] and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with [[Wikipedia:List of policies|Wikipedia's policies and guidelines]]. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=Draft%3ACodacy+%28Software%29|deleting administrator}}. <!-- Template:Db-spam-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> [[User:GSS|<span style="font-family:monospace;font-weight:bold;font-size:16px;color:hsl(205, 98%, 55%);">GSS</span>]]&#x202F;[[User talk:GSS|&#128172;]] 19:35, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was [[:Draft:Codacy (software)]], which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a [[Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with close associations|conflict of interest]]. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a [[Wikipedia:NPOV|neutral]] and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article.&#32;Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See [[Help:Userspace draft|our help page on userspace drafts]] for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask [[:Category:Wikipedia administrators willing to provide copies of deleted articles|anyone from this list]] and they will [[Wikipedia:Userfication|copy it to your user page]].

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately [[Wikipedia:Username policy#Sharing accounts|be blocked from editing]]. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have [[Wikipedia:Username policy#Promotional names|usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation]]. If you have a username like this, you should [[Wikipedia:Changing username|request a change of username]] or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you '''must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation''' to comply with our [[meta:Terms of use/FAQ on paid contributions without disclosure|terms of use]] and our [[Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure|policy on paid editing]].

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a [[Wikipedia:Wikipedians|Wikipedian]]! Please [[Wikipedia:Signatures|sign]] your messages on [[Help:Using talk pages|talk page]]s using four [[tilde]]s (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out [[Wikipedia:Questions]], ask me on [[User talk:Kj cheetham|my talk page]], or ask your question on this page and then place '''{{Tlc|Help me}}''' before the question. == Your username ==
[[Image:Ambox warning blue.svg|25px|alt=|link=]] Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "'''Codacy2020'''", may not comply with our [[Wikipedia:Username policy|username policy]]. Please note that you '''may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website'''. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that ''contains'' such a name if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be [[Wikipedia:Username policy#Sharing accounts|shared by multiple people]] and that you [[Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion|may not advocate for or promote]] any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our [[WP:PAID|paid editing policy]] and our [[Wikipedia:Conflict of interest|conflict of interest guideline]]. '''If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a [[Wikipedia:Changing username|change of username]] by completing the form at [[Special:GlobalRenameRequest]]''', choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. <!-- THE FOLLOWING TWO CATEGORIES (down to ***) SHOULD BE REMOVED WHEN THE USER IS BLOCKED, OR IT IS DECIDED THE NAME DOES NOT APPEAR TO VIOLATE POLICY, OR THIS TEMPLATE HAS BEEN IN PLACE FOR A WHILE WITH NO ACTION. --> {{#ifexpr: ({{CURRENTTIMESTAMP}} - 20200814155631) < 5000000000 | [[Category:User talk pages with conflict of interest notices|{{PAGENAME}}]] | }} {{#ifeq:{{BASEPAGENAME}}|Codacy2020|[[Category:Wikipedia usernames with possible policy issues|{{PAGENAME}}]]}} <!-- *** --><!-- Template:uw-coi-username --> [[User:Kj cheetham|Kj cheetham]] ([[User talk:Kj cheetham|talk]]) 15:56, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

*{{ping|Kj cheetham}} Hey [[User:Kj cheetham|Kj cheetham]] ([[User talk:Kj cheetham|talk]])! I have requested to change the name yes, I didn't realize that about COI. Anyway, what do I have to do, besides that, in order to have the page live? It won't be about Software but about the Company, which will touch upon the product. Does this work?

:* Hi there, hopefully the name change request gets processed soon. I've taken the liberty of submitting the article for review for you. However because there is a large backlog I'm afraid it'll take up to about 2 months! Do feel free to continue editing it in the meantime though. -[[User:Kj cheetham|Kj cheetham]] ([[User talk:Kj cheetham|talk]]) 16:10, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

== [[Draft:Codacy|Codacy]] moved to draftspace ==

An article you recently created, [[Draft:Codacy|Codacy]], does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from [[WP:RS|reliable]], [[WP:IS|independent sources]]. <small>([[WP:42|?]])</small> Information that can't be referenced should be removed ([[WP:V|verifiability]] is of [[WP:5|central importance]] on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to [[Wikipedia:Draftspace|draftspace]] (with a prefix of "<code>Draft:</code>" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's [[WP:GNG|general notability guideline]] and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. *{{ping|TheBirdsShedTears}} Hey! sorry, newbie here, I thought it was because of the references, so I have been using online references not just from the company. I didn't know it was due to the name. I have requested already the name change, yes. On this note, how long does it take until the name is changed/approved to be changed? Thanks
