The first LVSRs were ordered in 2006. The LVSR is the USMC's[[United States Marine Corps|U.S. Marines’]] equivalent of the [[United States Army|U.S. Army’s]] [[Oshkosh Corporation|Oshkosh]] [[Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck]] (HEMTT) and Oshkosh [[Palletized Load System]] (PLS).
