Faccio notare che se forse il rapporto non si sa se citi i 4 punti (ma è lungo e richiede accurata lettura), dice molto di peggio, nella sezione i che è parte delle conclusioni, in modo netto e tranchante: ''"The subject of UFOs has been widely misrepresented to the public by a small number of individuals who have given sensationalized presentations in writings and public lectures. So far as we can judge, not many people have been misled by such irresponsible behavior, but whatever effect there has been has been bad." ''

In sintesi lamenta che si tratta di sensazionalismo, "cattiva rappresentazione a opera di un ristretto numero di individui" (cioè truffa intenzionale) che "diseduca le persone", in particolare i bambini (di allora, di fatto oggi adulti: se ne vedono gli effetti oggi), e tentano, senza riuscirci, di far passare per scientifico ciò che non lo è , propalano per fatti u una subcultura, e "ritardano - dice - infine lo sviluppo di una reale capacità critica basata sui fatti" etc. Quindi, forse, non ci saranno i 4 punti indicati ma di certo si parla di antiscientificità, volontà di sfruttare la credulità della gente, "truffa", diseducazione, creazione di una sottocultura malsana e molto negativa ("whatever effect there has been has been bad"), e attacco al sistema educativo di base (americano). Mi pare un critica netta e evidente, e senza appello, peraltro condivisibile da chiunque sia una persona di scienza o comunque un individuo di cultura ragionevole.
