▲* In this article, most Windows XP's features are compared with Windows 98 and Me's features. Although 98 and Me were predecessors to Windows XP in terms of marketing positions (Home usage market etc.), from technological view XP and 98-Me operating systems have very little in common. Windows XP is a direct derivative of Windows 2000. As far as I know, XP is just a slight polish-up of Windows 2000. In my opinion, Windows XP should ONLY be compared to Windows 2000. By comparing XP to Me and 98, it makes it look very advanced and superb, and someone may think that Windows XP was a milestone product, but (as two other wikis said above), most of XP's features were already present in Windows 2000. --[[User:Nihad Hamzic|Nihad Hamzic]] 14:37, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
