Mibu Kyoshiro is seen looking at a poster that lists out the bounty for Demon Eyes Kyo. He notices that the reward is 1 million ryo and says that the money should be used to take care of the people instead. He continues traveling. Along the way, Shiina Yuya, mistaking Mibu Kyoshiro for Demon Eyes Kyo, attempts to claim the bounty. She realizes her mistake after she catches Mibu Kyoshiro. Then she notices that Mibu Kyoshiro has a bounty of 100 mon on his head.
Bounty Huntress Shiina Yuya looks for people to capture in hopes of gaining money, but another reason beyond that has made her go down this road. She is on this road when she comes across this guy called kyoshiro mibu. She fakes having high blood pressure and that is when Kyoshiro comes to aide her. while faking her illness she plays this part well until she can catch her bounty, who apears to her to be nothing but a few ryo. when Kyoshiro jump on the chance to keep her body warm with his, thats when she pulls a three gadge revolver at him. he dodges the bullets quickly and swiftly, but doesn't manage to escape any further. she ties him up on a tree then begin to make more bullets for her gun. while this is occuring a man named sanada and lady sakuya find out that kyoshiro is alive. Sasuke, sanada's friend and comarade, leave to go give back one of the true marumasas to kyoshiro, but when they arrive kyoshiro and yuya are being attacked by a kenyou. Kyoshiro is beging to get beatten up pretty badly as the two men hide amongst the shrubs. Then the kenyou turns to yuya and begin to plan to attack her. Kyoshiro gets in the way claming that yuyas boobs belong to him, and she denies it all. The kenyou then keeps his eyes on kyoshiro, and as these long arrow white thing project through his body and man that was hidden deep within kyoshiro comes out, am man who has said to kill a thousand men, demon eyes kyo. Sanada releases yuya and throws the muramasa at demon eyes kyo to use. The kenyou then grabs hold of yuya and begins to threaten her life, but demon eye kyo doesn't care and the kenyou throw the girl on the ground and continues his battle with kyo. he kyo trys a attack from the front, but the kenyou uses its tail as a shield. Then deeper eyes kyo uses his blades power to cut through him. the kenyou laugh and says do you see you can't cut through me and kyo replies back you heard it to the voice of the wind. The sword had cut the kenyou right in half. sanada and sasuke leave yuya with demon eyes kyo. she begins to run and he persues her. She falls in the fields and demon kyo is right over her asking her if she give up. The she tells him i wont die here i have to find the man with the cross shape scar on his back and kill him. kyo laughs and agrees to keep her around for amusment a little longer before he is locked back inside of kyoshiros body. He passes out and yuy runs back to the place the were at and opens a couple of medicine bottle to wake him up. when she ask if it kyo, kyoshiro freaks out and asks what happened. She replies nothing and then he tells her he must get away from her, but she agrees to stay with him so she can try to get her bounty for one million ryo. oh yeah the whole chapter startes out at the battle of sikiegara (something like that) When kyoshiro and kyo are battling a star falls from the sky making kyo go into kyoshiros body. well it something like that. they later explain this bit by bit through out the whole series.
Yuya drags(literally) Kyoshiro to a town, hoping to claim the bounty. They are ambushed by peasant, who mistook them for bandits. Yuya agrees to help them hunt down the bandits and forces Kyoshiro (and the rest of the village to help. The bandits, Banji and Touji seemed to have picked up on their plan and brought back up. Kyoshiro is beaten up by the bandits. Right when he was about to be killed, His eyes turn red. In one swift move, he cuts one of the bandits in half. His feature change, and he now has taken the form of Demon Eyes Kyo. He effortlessly cuts through the bandits without suffering one scratch. He then threatens to Kill Yuya, but changes his mind. He says he will aid Yuya since he finds her amusing. He then appears to have a headache. He sheaths his sword and changes back into Kyoshiro. Yuya decides to follow him, hoping to claim the 1 million ryo bounty on Demon Eyes Kyo and the 100 mon on Kyoshiro.
After traveling for a few days, they finally arrive at a town. The town was ruled by a coorrupt person, who had a deadly bodyguard maned Jimon. The bodyguard mistook Kyoshiro for Kyo and attacks him. Kyoshiro and Yuya manage to get away.
