Sure, here's a YouTube comedy short idea:

Title: "The Awkward Job Interview"

Synopsis: The short opens with a young man, John, nervously waiting in the reception area of a company's office. He is dressed in a suit and is clutching his resume in his sweaty palms. The receptionist calls his name and he follows her to the interview room.

As soon as he enters, he sees that the interviewer is his ex-girlfriend, Sarah. She greets him with a smile and invites him to take a seat. John is visibly uncomfortable but tries to maintain his composure.

The interview begins and Sarah starts asking him generic questions about his experience and qualifications. However, she soon begins to ask personal questions, making the interview increasingly awkward.

Sarah asks John about his hobbies, and he mentions that he enjoys playing video games. She then reveals that she has been playing the same game and asks if he wants to join her online. John agrees, hoping to salvage the interview.

As they start playing the game, Sarah's competitive side comes out and she starts trash-talking John. He tries to remain calm, but his frustration builds until he accidentally blurts out an insult. Sarah is taken aback and the interview comes to an abrupt end.

John leaves the interview room feeling embarrassed and defeated. However, as he walks out of the office, he hears Sarah laughing at something on her computer. Curiosity gets the best of him, and he sneaks a peek at her screen. He sees that she's watching a video of cats doing funny things.

The short ends with John realizing that Sarah is just as human as he is and that the interview wasn't as important as he thought it was. He walks away with a smile, ready to move on with his life.

Length: 3-5 minutes.
