A game called Spore is about to released, and the basic premise is that a creature under your control evolves. In that game, there is a generator which automatically calculates how a creature would move based on the features given to it. A simple mouse click and pull system allows people to select features such as how many arms a creature would have, its skeletal structure, whether its longer or shorter, and so on. A working model like this, coupled with extensive medical data on genes and biology might enable doctors to create designer babies or even manipulate the genes of existing humans extensively.
