Propithecus perrieri are found in both dry and riparian forests bordering rivers. In the Analamera Special Reserve, which encompasses most of their range and the only area where they have been studied, the altitude varies from 10 to 600 m (32.8 to 1969 ft), but Perrier's sifakas are usually found at elevations below 500 m (1640 ft) (Lehman SM et al. 2005.
