The school is located in the heart of Bristol, near [[Cabot Tower (Bristol)|Cabot Tower]], in an imposing building built of Brandon stone, designed by local architects [[Foster and Son]] and dating from [[1847]]. It is a fairly small school of some 560 boys, a small proportion of whom are full-time boarders, and is now Bristol's only all-boys school.
