== Storia ==

L'idea di organizzare il ''Tribute to the Troops'' fu concepita dal [[Glossario del wrestling#Wrestler|lottatore]] [[John Bradshaw Layfield|John "Bradshaw" Layfield]], per celebrare il lavoro svolto dalle [[United States Army|truppe americane]] in [[Afghanistan]] ed [[Iraq]]; il primo evento, in realtà, fu una puntata speciale di ''[[WWE SmackDown|SmackDown!]]'' svoltasi il giorno di [[Natale]] del 2003 al Camp Victory dia [[Baghdad]] (Iraq).
