Despite claiming to be a more nuanced understanding, it still presupposes the existance of left- and right-brained peoplem, and uses the authority of Elkhonon Goldberg to argue for points not supported by his research. Many sweeping generalizations have been made about right and left hemisphere function which are hard to justify. One such claim is that the left hemisphere is specialized for local, detailed, serial processing, whereas the right hemisphere is more specialized for global, holistic, parallel processing.
