Effective September 21, 2024 with the completiontransition of theto [[Caltrain Modernization Program|Caltrainfull electrificationelectric projectservice]] between San Francisco and San Jose, 14Baby Bullet service was discontinued and rebranded as the "Express" service. 14 Express trains run each weekday:, 3 per direction during peak morning commute hours and 4 per direction during peak afternoon commute hours. <ref name=":0" /> Express trains make 9nine stops between San Francisco 4th & King and San Jose Diridon: 22nd Street, South San Francisco, Millbrae, San Mateo, Hillsdale, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Mountain View, and Sunnyvale, with a scheduled journey time of 59 minutes. Select Express trains provide timed cross-platform transfers at San Jose Diridon to and from South County Connector diesel trains for continuing service to Gilroy.
