On [[January 13]], 2007, the Caltech women's basketball team snapped a 50-game losing streak, defeating the [[Pomona-Pitzer]] [[Sagehens]] 55-53. The women's program, which entered the [[Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference|SCIAC]] in 2002, garnered their first conference win.
